Arcanite Bars ;(

Hi All,

I need 20 Arcanite Bars so I can get an Arcanite Reaper crafted.

I am a herbalist / skinner, 53 Troll Shaman PvP Smolderthorn

My strategy was to get my herb and skinning skill up and farm the highend herbs such as Icecap, Fadeleaf and Mountain Silversage as well as Dragonscales from the elite Wrykin to make the money for the bars (26-30g each).

Any other tips would be appreciated.

Work with a couple guildiee's that have mining and alchemy.....

Trade them things they need for the ore/crystals/transmute....

The top money making herbs now (besides the evergreen Black Lotus) are dreamfoil and icecap. This is due to the DM hack being fixed in 1.10 and the sudden lack of supply of major mana pots. Icecap is harder to get since the only place you can get it at is Winterspring and it is being farmed to death at. Since you are on PVP server, it will be to your benefit to go to less populated areas rather than Winterspring.

Dreamfoil on the other hand is much easier to farm and is used also in Greater Nature Protection pots which people take to AQ. It grows in Ungoro, WPL, EPL and other places. Of these, you will have better luck at Ungoro, since it is not as heavily farmed as WPL, EPL. Also, you can get silversage around the mountain ridges at Marshall's refuge. You can also grind your rugged leather there too. Another good although minor income, is to farm ungoro soil, make to morrowgrain and sell, since morrowgrain is used in quests, rep turning in, and also certain Cenarion recipes. A bonus is that even if the pod doesn't open to give morrowgrain, it will give you other herbs which can include dreamfoil and silversage.

Mageroyal is trash. Briarthorn on the other hand, sells for at least 1-2g per stack of 20, so it's not that bad a loss either.

Also, go to Blasted Lands and Felwood for Gromsblood if you are on a mature server, stack of 20 gromsblood is selling for 20g atm on Burning Legion since we have so many BWL capable guilds on the horde side.

Gromsblood is a reagent in Flask of the titans, wich is being made in bulk by the top guilds on my server.

I´ve farmed for my epic mount in 4 days, top spots being the Plaguelands duo for Plaguebloom, Mountain Silversage and Dreamfoil, Felwood for Gromsblood, MT Silversage, Dreamfoil, Plaguebloom and Golden Sansam, Blasted Lands for Gromsblood and Swamp of sorrows for extreme ammounts of Blindweed, Goldthorn and Fadeleaf.

I love Gromsblood... just paid for my first three pieces of Dreadmist Rainment from farming it in Blasted lands. 15-20g a stack. Funniest thing on my server is Briarthorn is still going for 5-7g a stack. I can't figure out why yet but I'm not questioniong it. I can only guess that a PvP guild is buying it all for swiftness potions or something. But then again swiftthistle doesn't sell for as much and it's rarer.

Anyway makes no difference to me... I always take a run around Hillsbrad and pick up a stack or two of Briarthorn to put on the AH before I log off at night.
