Paladin & blacksmithing specialisations??

Firstly appologies if this has been asked 20k times before but i searched and couldnt find anything on this.

Basically: My pally is now 220 Blacksmithing (at only lvl 37) and i need to chose my specialisation - armorsmith or weaponsmith.
Ive been looking at the stuff both can make but neither tree seems to have, that I've seen anyway, any particularly good paly armor or weapons.
(IMO the whole of blacksmithing could do with more items with the int/sta combo but thats another thread in itself)

FYI: I mainly use my blacksmithing to make stuff for myself and my alts.
I only sell very little of what i make, the odd low mats yellow/orange skill lvl green item that was lvling my blacksmithing any and i can't or don't want to use, but thats about it.

So the question is which makes the best stuff for a paly armorsmith or weaponsmith ?

Edit - my mining is in the 240-250 region if that makes any difference, And i have alchemy and skinning alts around the same skill lvl so pots and skins arent a problem (for now)

For a guild armour smiths tend to be more useful, this due to the Dark Iron armour and the FR it grants for the MTs.

The Ornate Plate series, is also liked by warriors for PvP use iirc.

Lot less demand for weaponsmiths at this point. Might change with the BC expansion, due to the whole socketting issues then.
