A good UI?

I've dealt mostly with addons to date, and have yet to try a custom UI at all. I'm still using the default UI (although I scaled it down to minimum for more room).

I'm a little wary about getting a UI since I don't want it to be incompatible with the tons of addons I use. However, I wouldn't mind a fresh look.

Are there any particularly attractive ones out there? I want something that manages screen space well, without clutter.

As much as I like the notion of a "themed" interface, I hate the notion of letting other people choose what mods I should have. And precisely because many of these package deals have no sense of how to coserve screen real-estate. As such, I stick with my own UI and my own hand-picked set of mods.

I wouldn't let someone else /pick/ but I'd let them /suggest/. To be honest, I've seen lots of UIs and there's very little that I care for, most seem to clutter it up even worse.
