Hi dudes...first plz forgive for my bad english skills i'm from germany.

now to the topic( not sure if it should be placed in the normal mod forum maybe there is already such an addon):

since ct_raid assist wastes a lot of performance (-7fps + lags in my case) i'm looking for a good alternative to use it in my guild.

it should support
"maintank targets"
and should give the ability to send messages to the raid that pop up in the middle of the screen.
and a raid status(priest mana etc.) display.

maybe some other nice features but that are the most important one's for us.
it would also be nice if it would support the boss mods coded for ct raid assist because our guild is playing "high-end content" and we don't want to wait everytime till boss mods for other addons are released.

so infact we're looking for a not performance wastin lagfree ct raid assist ( like i said: does not have to have all the useless features ) ;)

ps: sry for my english again -_-

You'll find CTRA works a lot better if the entire raid is running the latest version. Have the raid leaders do a /raver at the start of the raid, and force people to upgrade. A single old CTRA can cause the rest to lag in an unpleasant manner.

I don't know of any viable replacement for CTRA, I'm afraid. There are mods which offer a few of the functions, but some of them aren't nearly as well-tested as ctra, and you end up with buggy confusion..

oRa is apparently worth a look, though I haven't tried it.

They've made it CTRA compatible which is a nice feature.

Pretty sure that's not the newest version so Google for it.

There's alternatives to CT_RaidAssist. Good alternatives, however, don't exist IMO.
