Myself and my brother have just started night elf chars on the same new server. We are playing a rogue and hunter. The plan is that we each take leatherworking and one of us (me) takes leatherworking in order to keep churning out gear for us....

I was wondering weather this is cost effective being as I just used a hell of a lot of light leather to make 2 sets of low level armour. Would it be more advantageous for us to just sell all the leather we gather to raise funds to buy all our gear of the AH rather than attempt to keep 3 characters happy on my leatherworking from our 2 sets of skins?

Also, assuming leatherworking can work, what specialisation should i go for to make agility gear....

Thanks in advance

Work hard and you can do it.

leatherworking is far from the most profitable trade but you get access to alot of armors that it will take hours of screaming in a capitol to get someone to make it for you.

Play a little on your own and gather tons of leather when your friend isnt around and use that.

As for high end leather armor with agility. Thats the "Tribal leatherworking"

If you are going to play together a lot -> No
You kill a mob only one of you gets to skin it.

What I would recommend is Skinning/Herbalism for one and Mining/Enchanting for the other and sell all mats for $$, then go and run instances and do quests for gear.

No offense Johnny, but the high end LW-tree with the most +AGI items is elemental LW... Tribal only has the two devilsaur items, while elemental has the Stormshroud set, Helm of Fire, ... (5-6 items with +AGI) Tribal is more for druids...
