Naked toon needs help

I have a level 51 druid who is completely naked other than a few runecloth bags and his mount.

What would be the best way to reequip him? He is feral specced, has 0 gold, and the server I am on has quite a low population and are almost all level 60 so it may be hard to find lower instance groups.

I'm actually looking forward to building him up.

run deadmines/wailing caverns in bear form, you should be ok, do this once or twice to get some basic gear. then move up to blackfathom depths and/or shadowfang keep. then move up to gnomeregan. then move up to scarlet monastery. all of this should be possible to solo at lvl 50 with bear form and shifting out to heal. just be weary of runners and be ready to shift out and wrath someone to kill quickly, or root if available. then start looking for a group for uldaman (they'll be happy to have someone that's outleveld the instance a bit with them). then start looking for a group for mauradon and sunken temple and do a few of those runs. you'll be as well geared as a lvl 50 is expected to be. if you have any professions (like leatherworking) you can grind the lower lvl mobs (should be easy as feral even naked) to make some basic clothes. or if you have enchanting disenchant all the non-usable items that drop in the first few instances I mentioned and sell the dusts/shards on the Auction House, then buy yourself what you want for gear.

when a toon is deleted they often come back naked when restored by the GM. Also when people leave the game they sometimes go a little nuts and DE all thier gear ... I had a friend who did that to his tier 2 priest then decided to come back like a month later.

I think Zkajan is on the right track - you can easily do deadmines or wailing cavern or both - good druid junk in WC actually - look for the fang gear. Then move up through the instances as you gain better gear. Sell everything you don't need - pick up everything that drops.

On the subject of naked toons, i'm on a RP server... i believe in RP and all. But, stormwind has turned into a city of naked toons at every inn and streetcorner dancing for tips... i thought this was funny at first but now it seems to be getting out of hand.

Anyone else experience this?

I'm actually looking forward to building him up.I agree with others that its fishy if you leveled this toon, or any other for that matter, you would have some idea how to reequip him/her.

I agree that you should start in DM in bear form and work your way from there. DM has great leather drops (for a 18-25) that will at least get you started, and a TON of wool/linen which sells quickly and consistently in the AH. 2 birds, one stone.

Im not sure how far a level 51 without gear can get into Gnomer though. My 60 pally can do it as holy/prot, but hes in 60ish blues and has a low-cooldown aoe.

Im surprised no one has said this yet. Grab a couple gathering proffesions and buy yourself some gear. I picked up mining, and with that alone I made over 50G just getting it up to level 150/300. The beauty of this is that you do all this in lowbie areas so no need to worry about dying. For the most part just go look for tin ore, and copper ore, combine them to make bronze and wait for the money to roll in.

Another thing....I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but why wouldnt someone who leveled his druid all the way up to 51 not know what to do in a situation like this. Im sorry for saying this but it smells of a purchased acount. :(

I have never heard of a toon being left penniless...I have, however, left one of my toons with one copper and nothing else but the clothes on her back - level 1 in booty bay. I was about to delete her, when my sister wanted the challenge of leveling her up. The same sister who used to complain about my playing now plays wow herself. (Ah! Peace in the familiy at last)

As to nearly naked dancing toons...I have seen so many gnomes, and nightelves dancing in their underwear in ironforge it makes me want to vomit. Much as W.C. Fields used to say about his ex-wife..."she drove me to drink - a fact for which I will be eternally greatfull". The nearly naked dancing gnomes and nightelves in Ironforge drove me to the hordeside.

The sad part of it all is that with the advent of the bloodelves on the horde side no where will be safe from the nearly naked dancing noobs.

sounds like my mage when blizzie reinstated him, only a mount and well that was it :p 0 copper and no clothes.
Must have been akward for those poor low levels that saw a lvl 48 mage without clothes running around trying to make cash to take on mining.
3 days later he had full blue gear and 150 gold, gotta love the Auction House

Not sure about the dancing toons in Ironforge and Stormwind but me and 4 friends made a party of level 1 male gnomes all with different coloured beards and created a party of naked male gnome cheerleaders. We went to various people in the starting area and the various cities and then spent a random amount of time /cheer-ing one person. The reactions were....interesting.

To all the people who say I have bought my account on ebay and I don't know how to play my toon, you should have taken a look at some of my previous posts - I clearly have a fair bit of experience. Or maybe I bought this account off ebay too. Plonkers. Use some common sense and ask the question - why would anyone sell a completely naked character on ebay? And if I was buying off ebay would I not also buy some gold to requip him? Why would I buy a level 51 char and not a level 60? etc etc

I sold all my equipment and gave about 200g to a random guy in OG (the one who guessed closest to the amount I had) and then deleted my chars. I have since resubscribed, had the character undeleted, and thought it would be fun to build him up again. I also have a naked level 60 mage and 60 warlock but they will be easy to requip because I have friends on that realm who can take me through the level 60 dungeons a few times. To be honest I can't really be bothered with them as the reason I gave up the game was because the endgame was so boring. The mage was full tier1 and part of tier 2, the lock part tier1 but MC/BWL is mindnumbing imo.

What I was actually asking is what people thought was the fastest way to requip myself. For example: grinding; soloing dungeons; going through lower dungeons with groups; going round mining/herbing; selling bags and buying equip off AH; etc etc.

It was easier to do than I expected. I just grinding SM graveyard for a couple of hours naked. I equipped a couple of drops and bought some more stuff from AH. I then put up my runecloth bags and made some money and bought more equippment so I was about half to two thirds equipped. I then ran ST a couple of time and now I am back in business.

Not exactly what I did the first time round "Captain Obvious"....
