Directions to Ironforge from StormWind

I am trying to get to Ironforge. I am in the Stormwind/Redridge mountians area. I dont know how to get to ironforge safely. I am currently lvl 18. I swam from westfalls up to wetlands but I still dont see a route I can take. To many mtns in the way. Does anyone know the way?

Take the tram from stormwind to Ironforge. Ask around in SW in general and people will tell you how to get there.

Just out of curiousity how long did it take you to swim to the wetlands from westfall? That is one of the wildest things I have heard yet. If you have the flight point to the wetlands from westfall you can run to IF from wetlands... but it would be much easier to take the tram.

What is the tram? And where is stormwind is it?

the dwarven district in stormwind (upper right corner), there is a building that looks like it's made of gears, go in it and wait for the tram

Yeah the tram is the safe way to go. At later levels (like 55+) if you are into pain and actually want to walk, there is a path. You walk through Elwynn - Redridge - Burning Stepps - Blackrock Mountain - Searing Gorge - Loch Modan - Dun Morgh (sp?). If course to get from the searing gorge to loch modan you need a key...

Like I said, if you're into pain you can do it =]

yes, the safest way is to take the tram. You should have come across at least a few quests in SW that took you up the tram to deliver stuff to IF. You swam from Westfall to Wetlands? Seriously, that is the craziest thing i've ever heard. That must of taken hours..

it takes about 6 minutes to FLY from SW to the wetlands... i really am seriously curious how long this swim took. I swam from the wetlands to southshore thought I would never get there.

Swimming from Ratchet to Tanaris at level 1 for the win...but this is just crazy!

I swam from Wetsfall to Booty Bay on my Warlock to take the boat to Ratchet, and I found this severely long and boring already. I think I don't even want to imagine Westfall > Wetlands!
