Attention! Engineers! Powerleveling!

Hi,

Alright, first of all, I know I can do this research at home, but at home I have a wife and kid, so that cancels out my research time if I actually want to play WoW.

The only time I can really ask/answer/comment on anything is when I'm at work. And when I'm at work, all I can access are the forums here, and "view only" the official WoW forums...

Let me thank you in advance for any help.

Now I have the SkillUp Engineering guide, and it's pretty basic, if you have the gold (I'd say 200g on my server). I have a few easy questions.


For a hunter, what is the most viable choice, Goblin or Gnomish? (Burst DPS isn't needed like a deathray, my own DPS is pretty darn friggin' good... Extra traps and slowing tricks for getting maximum range and keeping range is very welcomed)

I want to supply myself with Thorium Arrows. Is that Gnomish? Goblin? Or both?

Jumper-Cables, very useful for a Hunter, since we die the less often. Gnomish? Goblin? Or both?

Scopes for Guns and Bows... again, Gnomish? Goblin? Or both?

I went Goblin, though either would have been fine. Few items made by either are BOP, so you can trade nearly all the engineered items.

Both (Thorium shells, actually...you convert them to the arrows at an NPC)

Goblin, though like I stated, they're BOE, not BOP...you can buy or trade for them if you want...all they require of you is engineering skill (260 iirc) to use them.

Goblin for bombs, Gnome for gadgets... /shrug

Like I said...I went Goblin. Transporters are Gnome/Goblin specific...Gnome takes you to Gadgetzan, Goblin to Everlook. I love my Everlook transporter!

My hunter went goblin as well... I can look at the enemy laying before me and quote SCTV... "He blowed up REAL GOOD!!"

Goblin Engineering without a doubt. You get the very helpful bomb dispenser. The Dragon gun that only rarely hurts you (unlike that death ray that allways hurts you)

And bombs (ie the big one) that have large blast radii and stuns...gotta love the stun!
