Well, i live in Europe and i have a NA version of the WoW game. Lag ain't bad, my connection is good thank god. What i'm wondering is this: If i buy a gamecard in EU, will it work for the NA version? I know account activation keys for the versions are different, so i'm just wondering if it's the same with gamecards. Thanks for any reply in advance.

Unfortunately, gamecards are zone specific, whereas the activation keys for the games are not. Still leaves you with the differing client issue, but that's another ballgame.

Actually the EU activation key doesn't work for the NA version. Or vice versa. Think you got it backwards?

Nope, we had some reports here that CD Key activation codes could be used, one time only of course, to create accounts on the other server zones. Course, that seemed to only apply to US to UK and UK to US. Hence, the mentioning of the client issue. It can be jury rigged to accept each other, but it's a hassle.

And I personally checked on the gamecards, EU ones specifically state that they can only be used for the EU version of WoW. Least they did the last time I checked, which was.. january?? Something like that, couple of months back anyway.
