I really REALLY need some people to chat with. lately I have no clue what is wrong with the people I talk to but they hardly take the time to have a worthwile conversation with me. I have talked to 3 new people. Each of them for hours. Then they suddenly just dissapear andI don't hear from them again. It's really annoying.

So if you like haveing people to chat with then I would love to chat!

Should have posted this one before you asked about ages. Would have been happy to chat, except now I know I am way too old to be cavorting with such a young lady.

I think it's great to have a variety of riends of different ages and backgrounds. the onledst person I talk to on messenger is 46. he was in my Linkshell when I played that silly Final Fantasy online game. He's great to talk to when me and my fiance get at it because he will be very quick to point out where we both went wrong rather than just takeing my side out of fear of angering me. Where are the younger people supposed to get guidance if all the older ones are afraid to talk to them?

Well put, a variety of friends is allways good age is a small factor. If you can enjoy time with them age should not matter too much.

Age really shouldn't enter into the equation unless one starts asking about where you live or ask for your phone number or something like that. So long as the other person can't find you then a friendly chat shouldn't be a problem. I would also be concerned if the chat turned into something sexual.

I'm way old but have a great many friends that are under 20. I guess this has something to do with my moding game forums. Or it could be that I have never grown up? :undecided:

Yeah.. when it become more than friendly then that's where lines need to be drawn. i hav stopped talking to quite a few people these past 2 years do to them developing feelings. I understand you can't control the way you feel but when it's a large age difference or one or the toher is in a seriouse relationship then that's when the res light should go on.

like my fiance started developing feeling for a girl and normally I am not one for saying who he canand can't talk to but I put a halt to that.

See I don't know how people get feelings by talking to someone online. I'm not disrespecting them or anything it's just that talking online is not a good reason to develop feelings for all you know they may be bs'ing the hole thing.
Like i said no disrespect to anyone here.

I don't really either but it happens. I can undserstand developeing a strong feeling of friendship but it going to the poin that you would want to be with them... that's silly.

RL friend of mine got into a relationship with our Guild leader last year. True story. She just happened to live in the same state as he did, they ended up dating for about a year. I thought it was weird as hell, figured he was going to dissapear into an unmarked white van.. but miraculously he returned with a woman who could log into our GM's account..

That must be one of the few times it actually works out. But i wouldn't want to meet someone in a game, like i said their are some weird people out there.

I do not care if there is a vast age difference, as long as they meet the minimum age of 21, and PaladinChick you say that you are 21 in your profile. I am 44 IRL and I would love to chat with you about anything. I am afraid I might fall into that chat for 2 hours and dissapear catagory, but you never know. You are obviously in a committed romace relatioship, so I will steer clear of any of those expectations. Any other subject.. go for it.... send me a PM and I will give you contact info if interested.
