Wand Crit%?

Hi, just wondered if anyone knew how a wand crits? Is it from a base figure, int, +crit or some other calculation.

I'm not expecting an answer as i asked this before and got none, I'm thinking its down to a fixed figure, like 10% or something.

It seems to hover around 5%, increasing and decreasing depending on level of mob. I did a test some time ago with the Onyxia buff and it averaged 15% over 600 or so shots. So that would indicate it is based on spell crit, but the Ony buff might just be a special case. Anyone else?

How the heck did you get off 600 wand shots on Onyxia?!?! Even with a 1.3 second wand, that is still 13 straight minutes of wanding. Did you wipe a bunch of times? :undecided:

I use my wand a lot and it seems to crit roughly 10% of the time. I don't know what would affect it, but I doubt that the crit rate is fixed (if it were, then it would simply be +10% damage). Best candidate is spell crit chance. I ought to test...
