Okay I recently got £230 poonds to spend so I thought I would go ahead and buy a new CPU (I'm currently only on an Intel Celeron R 2.4ghz). but I have a problem, I know alot about Intel CPUs and which ones are good, and which are bad. But I know nothing at all about AMD CPUs. So I was wondering if somebody could kindly point out, which is the best CPU I could possibly buy for under £230 from this website: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ Thanks to anyone who does :smiley: Btw I already found out that I cant fit dual core processors to my motherboard so rule them out.

You do realise you're going to have to change motherboards as well, if you have a new processor? You will struggle to find much that fits onto your current Celeron motherboard. If you're going to upgrade to a moderately decent Intel processor, or any AMD processor, you'll need a new mobo to go with it.

Hmm okay, i got this motherboard only about a year ago and it's not a particularly old one either, but i will look into it thanks.
