Account creation problem! I wanna play help me out!

Ok well here goes,

I am a Dutch WoW buyer. I installed the game, no sweat. I had to create an account on the European site. After inserting the activation code I am asked for name, address etc. No trouble. After that, I am asked for my way of paying. This is kinda weird because I should be having my first free month now. In any case, I select the Pre-Paid game card and continue on.

After this is where the weird stuff happenes. I am asked for a code that's supposed to be on my 60-day card. I don't have that card and thus can't continue on. But I am supposed to be able to play right away with my 1 month free playing. Where can I find this? It's not with the game and the manual. The game was pretty cheap though(30 euro's, thats about 35 dollars) Can it be that they removed it because of the cheaper price tag? Or is the free month enabled in every game?

Help me out I wanna play!

Your free days are only available if you register a time-card/credit card. In other words, the 30 days is really only available if you subscribe 1st, a bit of a rip really, but its worth it :D

So basically, if I just buy a 60 day card now and I activate that I get like 90 days instead? Thanks.

It's like having your first driving lesson for free but only if you take a course of 40 other lessons after. They still call it a free lesson though.

Pretty much. If, you want to quit prior to your free month ending, than CC is the way to go. No additional charges to your card. If, you go with the gamecard route, then you will lose the money you paid for the card, because refunds are not possible with them. Plus, your account will remain active for as long as the card was valid.

This is done to lessen the administrative efforts on their end by the by.

I got one last questin can I use the guest pass (10 day) for myself for 10 extra days too or MUST I give it to someone who doesn't have the game yet.

Depends. If, you're going regular free trial (by way of a recruit a friend program or something like that). Then the answer would be no. You cannot combine your own guest pass with the other program's free time and then upgrade and get your free month for a grand total of 50 days of free play.

You can however use your own guest pass, for the 10 day free trial and then upgrade and get the additional 30 days, for a total of 40 days free play. Same applies to the recruit a friend program and the standard 30 free play with purchase of the game.

Still, even with the guest pass or the recruit a friend account creation routes you will still be asked about payment forms. It's fairly standard form, like I said, it lessens the administrative burden on their end a bit.
