ok, i have looked everywhere and i am on very frustrated. everytime i enter a main city, my entire computer, not just the game, crashes and restarts. i take it, it is a corrupt file in the main city folder or something. in stormwind, ironforge, undercity, and ogrimmar i have expierenced this. when i try to retry and join, it just crashes befor i even fully load in. i did run a repair and yes all my drivers are up to date. i ran the game fine for a month and now im getting this error. please help if you can ive tried amost everything and wouldnt you no it the official wow forums are down. again, please help.

You may want to get more ram or memory and if thats not the case you should just unstall and re install it if you havent all ready. Other than that i've got nothing.

Sounds like it could be an addon problem... I was having the same problem with BeneCast. Flew into IF, crashed, restarted--froze and computer crashed. Took me a few crashes to find the problem.
Just try disabling all your addons. If all else fails, reinstall! Good luck :)

ok i think i found my problem, i install the patches through a download from filefront. now the first time i tried installing the patches throught their installer, i crashed. is there and easy fix for this. and do realize i did play for a month wiht no rpoblems until i installed cosmos. i also just reformatted. what are my other options if i do crash wile using thier installed. there is a note pad on my desktop that says the patch could not find the wow.exe on my desktop.

It sounds like a hardware failure and as such has nothing whatsoever to do with World of Warcraft itself. Your specific hardware failure may vary but some possibilities are bad RAM, bad video card, or an overheating CPU and video card.
I'd suggest taking your computer to a reliable computer repair shop in your area and see what they can find. Alternately you can call your computer's brand tech support and ask them for advice.
