Some prices going up?

just wondering since i havent gotten a chance to logon yet

hmm I think they will go up a bit, but nothing drastic because lets be honest how many people are going to enter naxx and need those items ASAP?

In the weeks leading up to the patch the prices have been 8-10g more than usual. Yesterday the lowest BO was 50g.

Yep, arcane crystals used to be 25-30g BO on my server. Now they're 50g+. And god knows what the price of cured rugged hide is going to be, since we all know how many leatherworkers there are. And I need 42 of 'em -.-

I've noticed price drops too, people can't give Librams anyway anymore. I suspect Nexus Crystals are going to become even more stupidly expensive than they are now, though. Might be time to DE that Tier 1 gear I've held on to for sentimental reasons.

Nexus and Arcane Crystals are alllll going up because of the new Naxx attunement quest. If you've got Arcane Crystals to sell, sell them now... because people are going to be buying them up like mad so they can try the new instance!

Prices will rise for the first two weeks of the patch at most, then they'll drop again to a new avarage, probably slightly higher then what they used to be, but not much more of a difference then about 5G I expect

I hope they drop. They've gone from 25g each to 200g each on my server. It's a real kick in the balls to anyone looking to make anything with blacksmithing or to get their tier .5 gear.

Because, of course, it's driven up the price of Arcanite, and arcanite converters a similar amount.

On my server the price of Arcane Crystals is actually higher than Arcanite Bars, which is a bit strange, I guess. Currently they are around 50g and 40g, respectively.

Still, the Naxx attunement makes the "unprocessed" crystal more valuable, so it's all supply and demand once again. Prices will probably stabilize in a few weeks, maybe settling on a slightly higher average price than before 1.11.

With the new AD quests getting Exalted with them is now really easy and AFAIR Attunement is then free.

True, but I guess some people are too impatient to grind the rep, possibly staying at Honored or Revered and then buying their way into Naxx, thereby creating the market opportunity :)

14g buyout for arcane crystals on my server on monday night, tuesday night there isn't a single crystal for less than 35g buyout. I'm sure miners of any skill are battling over any nodes that might yield these. Reminds me of going shopping the day after thanksgiving. Also it has renedered the arcanite transmute almost useless. no less than 20 people were spamming wts arcanite transmute in the trade channel. Arcanite bars are 22g...

Rugged leather has also went insanely crazy, not to mention enchanting mats. Enchanting mats have exploded. I made some gold last night by just buying green and blue items off the ah, de'ing them and selling the mats.

on my server arcane crystals were
16g bo before 0.5 quests
28g bo just after 0.5 quests introduced
20g bo when market stabilized after most people that were going to do the 0.5 stuff did it
22g bo in the weeks after test relm was released but before patch (where some people including me bougth a bunch)
80g bo first day of patch, i sold some second day of patch for 60g each, price now is hovering around 45g each
