I have used the Gatherer (http://ui.worldofwar.net/download.php?dbtable=maps&id=277&title=Gatherer%20v2.2.2) addon for ages now and it is really useful (for those who don't know it logs alll the items; herbs, ore, chests etc so you can find them again easily.

The other day I was browsing the mods and I came across these two
Gatherershare (http://ui.worldofwar.net/download.php?dbtable=maps&id=2451&title=GathererShare)
and Gathererdump (http://ui.worldofwar.net/download.php?dbtable=maps&id=2633&title=GathererDump)

gshare alows you to share your findings with other peole using the addon so every time you find something so does everyone else using gshare likewise if they find something.

gdump is an addon to gshare that allows you to 'dump your data so that anyone using gshare can accept your data.

gshare activates automatically but to activate gdump typ
/gshare gathererdump on
then to dump your data type /gdump

obviously the more people that have these addons the easier it will be for everyone. So if you play khadgar please get them.

Can you choose who to share with? I looked at it briefly a few months ago but it looked like it blindly shared with everyone. I would want my guild to share, but not share with gold sellers.

There is a war on on my server against them. We've been documenting them via video - one guy keeps whispering "I'm videoing you because i think you're a bot, respond or be reported" but of course gets no answer. (despite the "30,000" banned accounts, the most infamous glider bots on our server are still active despite being reported hundreds of times), warlocks have been going to Azeroth and banishing their targets, hunters tagging their targets, etc. Only bots of course it wouldn't be fair to do that to people, we all have to farm to a certain extent. One gold seller even offered gold to go away. And they've started fighting some of our guilds that are stopping them the most. Soon we'll have a real world pvp war!

It's the most fun pvp i've had. Fighting people you have a real reason to hate.

Unfortunately it does share to everyone. The gatherer sharer shares to anyone else who has it, but only when you find something.
The gatherer dump does dump to anyone who has enabled it.

I dont think these things would be anygood for bots as they already know where they are going so dont need something like this. If a bot did have gshare you would get the locations of the stuff it was collecting.

Both factions can get it but when it dumps/shares Im not sure whether it only does it to your faction or to everyone. Most of the people I have seen using it I have been able to /w so they are allience this leads me to belive that it only works with members of the same faction
