Hi,
When i tried to log on last friday i got the message that my account is banned.
I really don't know why.
Never used any third party apps, hacks exploits cheats etc.
Also never been really rude in game or scammed or something.
Blizzard hasn't send me an email for the reason why i,m banned and they still not replied on my email for an explanation.
And there is also no phone support for contacting blizzard that way from my country
Anyone know what options are left?
Are there more poeple here that has seen his account banned without a clue why?
Thanks in advance for replies.

They'll probably have sent you an email explaining it. You'll need to check the email that you used to sign up for the banned account. I've never heard of them not giving a reason.
make sure that you use the email address linked to the WoW account. Secondly, make sure that any email's not been sent to your junk mail filter.

I checked on my 2 mail accounts and both spam folders, but really not a mail from blizzard.
I checked it all several times before this post, cause i couldn't really believe they would do this without some kind of warning (GM or mail).

Well, obviously, the next inevitable step is to give Blizzard either a call, or to send them an email, asking why you were banned. Just go to the official site and go to their support page.

I mailed them already last friday, but not got a reply yet.
Hope they will make a bit of work at this now.
I guess there is no other option than to wait and hope they will reply on my mails and get this solved.
Thanks again for your quick replies

Bottom line is...CALL BLIZZ
If you rely on email and are afraid to call, there is something you aren't telling us. ;)

In addition, sitting around waiting for an e-mail from them.. It can take a while before they get to you, if you haven't called in the mean time and even then it may take a bit.
Wasn't one chap banned for like 9-14 days or something, when they finally figured out that they got the wrong one and he was reinstated, don't recall if he got any credit for the missed days though.

Baaah, it's called getting a phone card for calling abroad with a discount over the standard phone and then calling during workhours of the nation in question.
I've done so with the US to clear up a purchase I had made and which hadn't been delivered yet within the agreed upon timeframe.
Really, no different to do so with any other part of the EU. Sure, calling from work can be a hassle, and might not even be allowed, but that's what holiday time is for.

Are you sure you just didn't forget to pay? I know I have thought I have been banned, when in fact, my credit card didnt have the money on it at the time of renewal, so I got cancelled. I went through the whole ordeal of emailing and calling and after about a week, I realized I didnt have money on my checkin account. Quick money transfer and I was back playing. If Blizz hasn't emailed you, and you checked your spam, unread, whatever folder in your email account, check your payment option.

I don't think it is because they didn't pay. They got a message that said they were banned. It could be a server problem. Definatley call them if you can...
It could be a server problem... After the latest patch, I get disconnected off my server often and always right when I kill a monster.

Well, i think Blizzard thinks my account has been hacked and has therefore closed it.

Happened to 2 of our guildies after the patch. First they lost their characterlist. They got it back and they god banned shortly after. Weird stuff.

What leads you to this conclusion? Have you let friends play on your account? Have you received some sort of indication this might be the case? Are you the original owner of the account? Done a virus scan recently?
Contact Blizz. You can probably get your account back in many situations not involving accidental misuse (letting a friend play, etc).

Another question that's worth asking... have you bought gold recently? Just because you're not selling it doesn't mean you're in the clear... :)

If it's because you haven't paid you get a message when you try to log in clearly saying that you've run out of game time and to buy more (my CC expired so a payment was refused just recently, got a nasty shock for a while).
