Gaining Troll Reputation as an Orc?

If this has been asked before, my apologies, but I have searched and cannot find the answers I want:tongue: .

I want a Raptor mount. I'm not aiming too high; not trying for epic just a regular old Raptor mount will do. However, I am an Orc so I know I have to both earn the money and gain Exalted Status with the Darkspear Trolls.

My question is how do I do that? Right now, I am honored and very pleased with that, but I got it without really trying. However, since I just hit 28th, I really want to start working on my reputation with them. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Do I just complete quests for any troll I see? I have heard there are "collectors" you can give items to that will improve your standing with a particular faction. Do the Darkspear Trolls have one and, if so, where is s/he?

I am sure it will take longer than 40th to gain enough status to buy a Raptor, but can someone give me a rough idea of how much time? I don't mind waiting if I get the mount I want, but still won't mind an idea of how much longer I can expect to be walking/running:wink: .

IIRC, the troll cloth quartermaster is in the valley of spirits in Org, same hut as the mage trainer

Also keep your eye out for a repeatable quest. Doing it enough will save money. The bad news I don't think the trolls have one, but I could be wrong.

The worst news. Unless you have access to a lot of G, or a lot of cloth I don't think you make it anytime around 40. I have never personally heard of anyone doing pre-60. But by the same token who takes their time for that stuff before level 60. Good luck.

You could always run ZG in the hopes that someday, the raptor mount will drop, and that SOMEDAY, you'll win it. :D

What you have to do if look for the people with blue question marks over them. If you want reputation with trolls, go to the troll cloth master in front of the building that houses thrall's chamber. (valley of honor, I THINK!!!)
