These are just some ideas I had for Family Abilities for some of the Pet types that currently do not have one. It does not include all the Pet Families without one, etc. but would love to hear your ideas for what the various Family Abilities should be. Most are based on the abilities real animals have and what the creatures can do in-game before they are tamed.
Bear: Swipe - a knock-down maneuver that allows the bear to interrupt casting, spells, etc.
Crocolisks: Thrash - a maneuver sort of like the Warrior's Overpower: can't be dodged, etc. and gives a one-hit bonus to damage or attack power.
Hyena: Infected Bite: a bite that leaves the target with maybe minuses to certain stats, slows speed, or something similar.
Spider: Web Snare - spider can throw a web that roots and holds a target for a certain period of time, similar to what some spider mobs can already do.
Tallstrider: Taloned Kick - a version of the Warrior's rend, just for this family of pets.
