Ok, so first of all I'd like to know the details on how I can get these Argent Dawn tradeskill quests, like the one where I can turn in fish for faction. I went to Light Hopes Chapel or w/e and could not find any quest person that had the new fishing quests. So any help on that would be appreciated.
Also, how much faction do you get exactly from each turn in? I've heard it's like 80 in total or 50, is that worthed, or are there better ways? I personally enjoy fishing a lot, so if it's a justified amount of faction I wouldn't mind farming for it.

I look and spat on the epic gun reward from the AD quests. It's even worse than the DHC.

To get the trade skill based turn ins, you have to do a few things, First you need to do a turn in of another variety and get yourself an Argent Dawn Valor Token....looks like a star in your bag, these are the old ones pre patch. Then there is a guy sitting on a horse to the left of the chapel, he doesnt have a quest symbol over his head and he is wearing pvp marshall gear. You talk to him and give him the valor token and he gives you a random writ...you open the writ and then it tells you what the turn in you need to do is....I am unsure of the rep reward at the end however as I am still working on the ones I have.

Are these the tokens that you can get for turning in scourgestones?

On my server a lot of players are selling their writs (which give the quests to turn in x tradeskill item) for anywhere from 50s to 10g, depending on how easy they think it is to collect those items, so you should check out the ah too if you don't want to turn in your valor tokens (which are better used for increasing your rep or if you wanna save those for the shoulder enchants)

You should do the quest to get a sealed writ once cause the first time you do it you get a bonus +200 AD rep. (after that it becomes repeatable and the rep drops down to +10 when you pick up a writ, and +50 when you turn in a writ)

So the rewards of the writ quests are very dependant on class. As a druid, I don't really care much for the epic quality items, but the blue caster ring makes me drool.
If anything, you probably should go through the hassle to get the 18s bag.
That said, it isn't easy to get these. You need N/N insignia's of the dawn and insignia's of the crusade. N/N meaning you need the same number of each, and that number is dependant on your rep level. For the blue items it's like 30 for friendly, 20 for honored, 7 for revered, 6 for exaulted.
So next you ask how you get these insignias? Well the writs of course (one completed writ gives a choice of 1 insignia)... there are other items which drop around the world. 30 of these items gives you 1 insignia. There are dark iron scraps from BRD/BRS, crypt fiend parts/bone fragments from strat/scholo, savage fronds from Dire Maul/Unguro Crater and finally core of elements from the elementals (Felwood, Silithius, etc).
So other than the savage fronds, the items don't give you a choice of which insignia you get. This means you need to be careful on which type you collect when you turn in a writ.
As melliandre said, you should at least turn in 1 valor token. The first quest gives you 200 rep. Then it's a tossup if you get a writ you can do. You only get 10rep for turning in a valor token and you would have gotten 25 if you used it.... you're down 15 rep unless you do the writ.
