Super Man vs Jedi who do you think would win?

Nah, Jedi have got no chance, Gandalf ftw! Or the Nazgul. In fact, Tolkiens creations seem to be pwning Superman, just give Sam a drum kit and he could do it.

I think a well coordinated group of Jedi would have no problem bringing the man of steel down- especially if they were battling him on the planet Krypton ;)

Um.....Jedi's hands down, he is the man of steel, but I am pretty sure a lightsaber would have a good chance of cutting off some body parts.....even if he can get shot at and have em bounce right off.
Besides the Jedi are almost like ninja's and ninja's > than all.

I would presume that Superman has been affected by red kryptonite otherwise why would he be fighting the Jedi? But I still think the Jedi could probably take him - power in numbers and all that!

First consider that Superman's powers are based on his Kryptonian Aura, a form of Morphic Feild. Also, the Force can be described as the interaction between morphic feilds.
I would propose, then, that most Jedi would be unable to effect Supeman much, simply because his "force" is capable of exerting an exceptional amount of energy, and it would simply dwarf their abilities. Very experianced/powerful Jedi, such as Yoda for example, would likely be able to use Superman's own powers against him.
Also remember that much of the Jedi arsenal is mind manipulation, something Superman is quite vulnerable to.

Umm.. first off a lightsaber wouldn't pit a dent on superman.. second off superman would own them all in 10 secs

Article is a tad biased. Galactus and Darkseid have battled to a draw, and only because Darkseid couldn't harm Galactus and Galactus was unable to feed off of Apokolips, hence making the battle meaningless.
Darkseid gives Superman fits, so the chance of CK being able to deal with the Devourer of Worlds.. Not that high, heck, the Green Lantern and the Silver Surfer have fought to a standstill as well and the GLs have proven to be a tough foe for Superman to beat as well, so the chance of CK being immune to the Power Cosmic.. Not that high.
Jedi? Depends on the Jedi in question: Jollee Bindo, Jacen Solo and Kyle Katarn are more Unifying Force oriented, the Force is neither Light or Dark, it just is, and dependant upon how the wielder uses it, is whether it could be considered dark or not. Luke Skywalker has fallen to the Dark Side in the past, as well, so he does have access to such powers, though he chooses not to use them, due to his own "fear" of corruption.
Anyway, that effectively means that the initial three Jedi I mentioned could use powers against the big S. which could be considered Dark and which would definitely hurt him. Plague, Lightning, Affliction, Choke, Slow, Insanity, Horror etc. And that doesn't even include the age old: We're not the Jedi you are looking for trick. That chap with the bat emblem on his chest is one though. :wink2:

Jedi. Nuff' said. Not even Superman is immune to a lightsaber. Because I said so.

Pfft even less, superman flies to outer orbit and flies down half way through the continent at the speed of sound taking the jedi with him.
Superman one, jedi none.
