With the new Global LFG I noticed a problem right away, your chat log got clogged up with "LFG Low-Level-Instance-That-Your-NEVER-Gonna-Want-A-Group-For" within seconds of logging into the game, so I was wondering if there is an addon that allows you to put filters into your chat so the UI dosnt display "LFG RFC" etc.
Thanks

Does anyone know of an addon that filters by level of the char? It would be nice if there were two ranges possible. For example if I am level 40 I'd love to filter all chatter for levels 1-35, and all chatter 45-60. However at level 60 I'd like to filter out all chatter levels 1-58 or 1-59. The LFG channel is now the all inclusive channel and has way too much crap in it and I don't see Blizard ready to do anything about it at this time.

It does not filter by level; please don't make inflammatory statements unless you fully understand what the person is saying. I am currently using the mod and talking to the author and he has already stated that his mod does not filter by level.

[4. LookingForGroup] [Dood] How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chucknoris? <-- level 15 in the barrens
[4. LookingForGroup] [Whome] LFG UBRS <-- level 60
In that example I wouldn’t want to see Dood's message at all because he is not in the level range I am looking for. However CTA does not filter out those messages based on the players level, but it does filter it since it's not LFG related. It captures each message and then determines by using various filters what to add to the CTA UI screen. I don't want to have it open because when it is you can't do anything like be grinding faction or whatever. Since it also does not output the LFx messages to a separate channel if you do see a group you like you may be to late to get a spot to ubrs or whatever.

There is a section for search options where it says any class, and has boxes for a level range.

But all that does is hide lfg messages for specific classes depending on which class you choose. All LFM messages remain in the list.
What I was looking for is a mod that will filter out LFGs and LFMs for the levels that are not in the range I want to see. For example the below screen shot has a LFM for SM by a level 39 mage. I don't want to even see it unless I am playing an alt around level 40ish.

Does anyone know of a mod that has a UI for changing options, filters out unwanted LFx messages, redirects them to another channel so that you can right click the name and whisper or invite, filters by level or range of levels, and does not do much more than that to save on processor time?
Even if it's a older mod that at least captures messages from a channel, filters spam, and then redirects the message to another channel that would be helpful. That way I can just try to make changes to filter by level. I have seen Eloquence but it does way to many extra things I just want something simple.

Dude, I said "Tried reading the thread ?", is that offensive, well, IS IT ??
You got abused by your teachers as a child:idea: ?
All the other crap you wrote ...
There's that option that lets you print latest LFG messages where you want it(mostly under minimap or under the button). Try looking in the options.
And yes, the level filter is buggy ? So why come and flame me for it ?

Tuplad, you seem intent on picking random fights in all the threads I see you in today - I suggest you calm down a little. We pride ourselves on our friendly tone here. And in case you honestly don't know: yes, the single line "Did you try reading the thread?" in response to a legitimate question (which as far as I can see has not already been answered in the thread) is inflammatory. So is calling a post "All the other crap you wrote ...". Relax, dude
DanoPDX, sorry, I don't know a mod like that - would be useful, though.
