LVL16 Priest: [My apologies in advance for posting this thread in both UI and Priest forums] I waste precious time doing the following procedure manually: After casting any DoT and self-shielding myself, I settle in to finishing off the mob with my wand. If the mob is particularly tough, I'm left needing either to self-heal or to renew the self-sheild or both. That means jumping or stepping backward to interrupt the wand cast, hitting F1 and then finding the heal or shield icon in the toolbar, then clicking on the mob again and resuming shooting the wand. By that time, I'm almost dead myself --- and in fact, if a second mob shows up --- I am dead! There's got to be a way to streamline this --- a macro is probably the answer.

Auto Self Cast. Standard wow UI.
And you can interrupt the wanding by pressing/spamming the spell you wanna cast.

Try something like this.
/stopcasting
/cast [target=player] Power Word: Shield
With the above macro you could mash the button and it would cancel wanding (is that even a word) and cast PW:S as soon as the GCD (global cooldown) is gone.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Tunga and I apologize for my lack of knowledge, to my excuse it was some time ago since I played a caster.

Well the second line of the macro would still be useful if you wanted a specific self-cast PW:S button.
