Where to farm felcloth/mooncloth for robe of void?

OK im at 290 in tailoring and i need to start making mooncloth and gathering felcloth so i can get my robe of the void asap (48 lock). now i was told u need 2 felcloth and a moonwell to make one. is that true? and where in felwood (im assuming) do you farm for felcloth? thanks

Satyrs I believe drop the most felcloth.

Satyrs is correct...Felwood and Azshara have a collection of these. Aim for the 50 or greater level ones, as I do not believe any satyrs of lower level drop felcloth.

Also FYI, mooncloth purification has a 96 hr (4 day) cooldown.

The Legashi in ashara have a better drop rate than the ones in the felwood. There's an added bonus that you're not farming a quest area.

That being said, the largest drop of felcloth I saw was doing the low level satyr quest in the felwood... 5 pieces in 30m (at like 55th level). Felcloth is one of those annoying parts of tailoring which requires lots of farming.

That and the fricken 4 day cooldown of mooncloth.

I started creating mooncloth as soon as I could... buying the felcloth off the AH if I needed too... I wanted as much banked as I could before I hit 300.

I mean wtf, alchemists only have a 2 day cooldown on their transmutes... leatherworkers a 3day on their salt... why 4 days on mooncloth? And then some recipes ask for 12 pieces
