Last night I took a look into WC for the first time. Now it was explained to me that when you enter an instance you or your party are in there alone.
basically whoever you went in with is who is there.
last night I ran into a night elf about half way through the instance.Also......I know when I went into RFC the game paused and screen changed and then i was inside the zone...........not last night i just walked in like I was entering a bank.....what gives here?
did I not go in far enough?.......is there an instance entrance actually inside the cavern?
:ponder:
please explain as I'm getting to old to feel stupid

Instances are only on the other side of a swirly portal (blue for dungeons)...and are accompanied by a loading screen.

Oxhammer,
join a guild.
That will give you a whole group of people you can ask for in-game help. Providing you don't do it too much they'll be OK about it. Just remember to give as well as take :-)
BTW, Bloodhoof server here, feel free to whisper me ingame in the unlikely event that you too are on bloodhoof.

appreciate the feedback. Unfortunetly I'm on Norgannon. Still not sure about joining a guild as I really dont want to be dictacted to as to what I'm doing in game and when I should do it. But then again I could be completely wrong about that regarding guilds. It's just my impression.

You are completely right if the guild is no good.
You are completely wrong if you get a good guild. In a good guild, you are treated with respect and friendship, and people will go out of their way to help, "knowing" you will do the same when the opportunity presents itself.
They exist...it is worth the "effort" to find one.
