I have gotten extremely bored of leveling all of my characters and I am looking for something new. i haven't gotten any to 60 yet because I can't stick with just one character. I decided I was going to make a new character so I made premades to test out different characters and decided to make either a warlock or rogue. Either way it is going to be horde because all of my 10+ characters have been alliance. Which one is better at leveling quickly to 60, getting into raids/parties (including endgame), pvp, and which one is funner?:ponder:

Have the same problem, having tried Horde as of yet, but Shamans look promising :D

I would make a shaman in a heartbeat if I hadn't heard they were absolutely horrible in pve. :cry:

Also, I think I'll add fury warrior to the list of possibilities because it seems pretty good :smiley:

Less problems finding a group as a 'loc, which you will need at level 60.

Why would Shamans be bad at PvE? Less good at killing non-intelligent mobs than PCs? Doesn't sound right to me, and not what I have found myself.

I think he means their said "useless" skills in raid instance (note I don't find them useless at all just that a lot of vocal people see them that way)

Actually I'll remove warlocks because I'm tired of spellcasters. So now it's either Fury warrior or rogue, please help me decide :ponder:

PvE server? Warrior

PvP server? Rogue..all the way.

Since you boil it down to 2 classes, I suggest warlock. If that class bores you...you might as well stop playing the game....

Well I can't really tell you what to pick, just give you my experience. I have a 39 rogue on a pvp server and a 21 warrior on a pve server. I LOVE my warrior. The rogue was nice up to a point, but I can only imagine the terror i would have caused as a fury warrior on that pvp server. I would pick warrior. Again, that's just me though. If you want to see the big yellow numbers... I can say that at lvl 36 on my rogue I was getting ambush crits in teh 900 damage range. The largest crit I have made on my warrior (only lvl 21 mind you) has been 203. He's mosty Arms spec though, just has the 5 points in fury for cruelty.

PvP = Burst
PvE = consistent damage.

Shammies are all about burst... Shocks, Windfury etc etc...
But that either blows through your mana like mad, or is random based...
