Hi, I`m installing the free trial to see if WoW is anything for me. I have asked a little around to people I know who play, about what server to choose. I am gonna play on a regular PvP server, but I was advised not to choose an old server, because it would be very hard to get in a guild, and most players would be in the endgame. So to choose a new server. But I have been looking around the official page, and can`t find any info about the server ages. So maybe I can get help here, what servers are relative new, and what would you advice me to choose? Thx in advance.
Just look at the Poulation on the realm screen. If it's 'Low' chances are it's new. If you need a specific example, try Dunemaul, i just re-rolled on there and it's fairly low populated and although it isn't new, it isn't old either.

Servers can become "low" populated again, or even "recommended", after a server transfer. But yes, in general, "low" and "recommended" servers are fairly new.
New servers aren't a guarantee though: in every server you will encounter a high number of players is already in endgame and a lot of guilds have already been formed. Luckily, in every server there is normally also a new player base forming - so in my opinion, server age doesn't really matter that much.
