okay so i just bought the War of warcraft game and i was just wondering what everyone one else thinks of the game. also i found out there is a monthy payments to keep playing and i was wondering how much it is and other helpful stuff about that. also i was wondering if someone could meet me in the game and help me a little to get used to the way its played. i was also wondering which character to recomend. one question that i was wondering is if you can have two characters on one account and not have to pay more. help would be great

Why in God's name would you post this in the "Suggestions" forum? I don't see a single suggestion in your block of text.

But, to try and answer a few questions ...

okay so i just bought the War of warcraft game and i was just wondering what everyone one else thinks of the game.

We obviously enjoy it. Why else would we be playing it?

also i found out there is a monthy payments to keep playing and i was wondering how much it is and other helpful stuff about that.

www.worldofwarcraft.com

Log into your account on the official website and check the costs for yourself. It's around 15$ US/month, give or take (depends on what plan you choose ... monthly, 3-month, or 6-month).

also i was wondering if someone could meet me in the game and help me a little to get used to the way its played.

What server are you on? Are you Alliance or Horde? Help us help you.

i was also wondering which character to recomend.

What is your play style? What do you enjoy doing? Hack'n'slash, tank, magic, healing, ranged damage, a mixture of all of the above? Read the class descriptions on the main WoW page.

one question that i was wondering is if you can have two characters on one account and not have to pay more. help would be great

You can have up to 10 characters per server, to a maximum of 50 characters total on your account.

a) Wrong forum, I suspect that it'll effect the amount of answers you'll get.

b) Considering, there are 152,896 members and at the time of my writing this: 1398 people on the forums, then I think it is safe to say that the folks like the game.

c) Try the FAQ (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/faq/general.html).

d) WoW is the most newbie friendly game on the market, you really do not need another player to help you get used to it. Solo a bit, you'll be lead to group play as you go along.

e) Tastes differ per person, just try varying class/race combo's up to level 20 (shouldn't take more than a few days) and stick with what you like.

f) You are allowed to have 50 characters max, with something like 8 to 10 (for some reason I keep forgetting the exact number) on an individual server.

So, you you could fill up a few servers, or you could have 1 character on 50 different servers. Your call.

Piece of advice, start on a low-med pop PvE server. Means prices at the Auction House won't be completely insane and that you won't end up as just another example of trench death in IF (very very true, if you only have 512 MB RAM memory). PvE means as much getting to know the game, without having to look over your shoulder constantly to avoid getting ganked by enemy players. Considering, you're a newbie, you're better off on a PvE player to learn the ropes.

Nice start to a forum community. My guess is he thought this is where he went (also being a new member of the community) because he was looking for help (suggestions?) Although this is in fact the wrong forum...

But the posters are correct with their suggestions. Try doing a search on the forums for the topics you want answered. Chances are a lot of people have asked very similar questions to your own.

WoW is a great and addictive game. have fun!

Hey Stigg,

Do you play an alliance character on Blackwing Lair? While honor farming over the past few days in WSG I killed a player named Stigg quite a few times.

Haha, I do not. I have a char named Stigg, but he is on Dunemaul, Horde, level 12 ( ithink) and use him as a bank now a days.

And c'mon now, did you really need to ask? You couldn't beat me if you had a small army.

Muahahaa *cough*

okay, thanks for all the help cause it did help a little. lol, the reason i posted it in the suggestions part of the forums was because i orginally just wanted some advice on my what character i should try out. then i realized i had more questions so i just added them. I think im going to try having a human rogue and a elf hunter to start and ill get some other characters later. too bad i cant start playing because im going on vacation and wont be able to play the game until i get back. but th vacation should be fun. see you in the game. and thanks for the help

Normally best to play each class upto lvl 20 and see which one you like the best

Paladins are probrly the easyest to start off on because they're near impossible to die on, cost nothing to run (other than water :P) and require pretty much no skill to play

one big problem with being a paladin... my realm for example is 99.999999% paladin which might not seem like a bad thing now but at lvl 60 its not good, imagine if 99.99999999% of people i nthe world all wanted to go on 1 train. there's your problem :ponder:

"It takes a of people army to take down a paladin, But at takes a army of paladins to take down a person."

Paladins? Seriously? Most people I've talked to can't get past level 20 on their Paladins before their eyes start bleeding from boredom.

My server's largest population is Hunters.

on the server i have been playing, there are alot of hunters and warriors. i played a paladins and got kinda bored with them. i like my hunter and druid so i think ill use those on my real account.

p.s. i got no friends so if you want a friend ill add you when i get back from vacation

Thats sad :(

But, you must remember that you need to be on the same server as people to be able to add them to friends list ro talk to them in game....so you won't be my friend!
