I downloaded TortoiseSVN as I understood it's some kind of autoupdate thing for some mods(ace mods?), but I have no idea on how to use it. Is it something that's quite easy to use, or should I even bother with it and leave it to the "professionals"? :)

Is there some central address that I should use for it to update my mods, or have I completely misunderstood the program? I've read info about it from a wiki but it still rings no bell as in what the thing actually does :>

Why do you ask it here ? This is not the place to download with SVNs, if you want Ace addons, your place is at http://www.wowace.com/

Next time read a wiki: http://wiki.wowace.com/index.php/What_is_the_SVN%3F

SVN isn't an 'auto-update for some mods', it is a versioning system used by software developers, known as "subversion". I'd suggest doing a google search on subversion, and then, I dunno, reading the documentation on them. Also, TortoiseSVN is a graphical client for subversion (svn), which has its own documentation.
