Hi everyone,

I am returning to the game and thought I would ask some quick questions that I have.

First, I am interested in playing Horde as I was alliance the first time around. I hear that shamans are not well regarded in the end game raiding guilds. Obviously Warriors are always needed to tank, what other classes are desired and what classes suffer from just having too darn many people playing them. I would like to roll a rogue, but I fear that I will never get into a guild. I will probablly roll a main and an alt to take advantage of rest exp so really looking to pick 2 pretty different classes (wouldnt a warrior / pally alt combo be so boring!)

Second, any server suggestions? I just cant tell which servers are new and which are old. There are alot I do not recognize. I will probablly play PvE since I like to log in for an hour here and there. Battle grounds provides all the PvP i need.

Third, is disenchanting still a good money making path or is that pony dead?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Priests and Druids are also generally desired.

If you want to play a Rogue, why don't you have that as one of your two toons (three? :-)). Get into a good guild with the other toon, prove to be a reliable and good player, then ask if your Rogue can join? Being a team player, being reliable, knowing the guild will count for something in you advantage.

Join a medium-populated server and whisper a likely high-level to find out which server is a good choice for you (check timezones as well). If it sounds dreadful, or if there is a low volume of LFG etcetera - try another server.

Tbh I have alot less problems finding groups with my feral Druid than holy Priest. As Druid I can go as tank, dps or healer, but my Priest can only heal.

If you want 2 classes, Priest + Rogue sounds good.

I'd pick to classes with different strengths. Like one typical healer and one damagedealer. If you end up healing all day you probably want to do something else when you log your alt. Also nice to have one character with good killing speed when you need to farm.

If you don't end up with enchanting on your main, I'd at least get it on the alt so you can mail stuff to disenchant. Maybe even make a third character and level up to 5 so you can get enchanting. Nice to be able to produce things like arcanite bars, mooncloth etc so having these skills on level 35+s might be a good idea.
