While attending to ui.worldofwar.net I spotted the shoutbox filling up with server issue shouts and it appears loads of NA servers are still experiencing latency problems and crashes. Here's*a note on this from Blizz:

As I am sure many of you are aware, we are seeing a number of issues that have arisen since patch time. There are a number of overlapping issues which we are working on separating and resolving. Most of this has come from Cross-Realm Battleground matters and can result in disconnections, high latency or other performance issues. These issues are impacting a number of realms in varying frequency, so presenting any list of affected realms would not be accurate for a worthwhile time.

We are aware of the fact that your particular realm may be down, so there is no real need to bump your post dealing with why your realm is not up or if Battlegrounds may be active or not.

Our programming team has been working with our networking team all day in addressing these matters and we are closer to complete resolution. In the meantime, I just wanted to let all of you know that we are aware of what your particular realm may be going through, but we are dealing with root issues that will effect all realms.

If you do not see your particular realm on any given list that may come forth today, it is not because your realm is being ignored or your problems will go unaddressed, it is simply informing you of what steps we are taking when it comes to realm restarts, etc.

Along with being one of the most popular and brilliant game developers, blizzard can sometimes be THE MOST PATHETIC tech service on the planet. Was their management smoking POT when they decided to go live with this OBVIOUSLY unresolved 1.12 patch?

Talk about releasing inferior content and then posting blatant PR Sh i t, apologizing for the 'inconvenience' to their millions of PAYING consumers.

This is plain NOT acceptable and blizzard should reimburse at least one day's of play times, that theyve stolen from our payments. Make no mistake, this IS a service. We pay and you MUST provide. From 30 days anyways 1 is almost ALWAYS gone due to 'extended maintainence' (i mean when ISNT is extended?) and with another gone, thats close to $2 from the $15 ive paid. And no, $2 wont kill me and neither will it make blizzard any richer (or actually, $2 x 6 million users worldwide, every month IS a lot of money) but the question is of an infuriating service.

'There is NO ETA, we are still testing. Its almost done'. Lame.

Hmm. Amongst the anger/frustration here there is a valid point[1]. Given that the US realms had no end of problems yesterday.... why on earth roll out (presumably) the same patch onto the European realms?!!! Or am I missing something on the timing here?

[1] Well two valid points actually, but we've talked about Blizzard's PR before... they really don't do themselves any favours....
