Typically yet again a patching has gone wrong, this happens all the time for us EU WoWers and frankly it's getting repetitive :(

"Due to two separate issues the maintenance will be extended beyond the original ETA of 16:00 CEST. Please refer to the Breaking News on the game login screen for the latest news."

So in other words, the downtime will probably be for an extra week just like 1.11.

When the NA realms did come up ALL the bg's were broken and there were horrible lag spikes, many instances were bugged *drakk in ubrs among others. So perhaps they are trying to "get it right" in the EU and prevent multiple realm reboots like they did for us in the NA.

Yeah, it sucks but if the player base ever levels off i think it will stabilize. If it continues to grow at such a rapid pace.. this will be the norm IMO
