Reader,

Okay... I've seen people running round with a what is certainly a mod. It prevents another player from inspecting them. The inspect window comes up but the objects only show as named by their body position, with images. On mouse-over I get no informtation, just the object postion in bold yellow text.

Is it wrong to have this mod? If not, what did it come from so everyone can have it?

It would probably be wrong, yes.. and I've never seen it, nor does it sound feasible since you would have to stop the server from doing something it's meant to do inherently.

Are you sure you're not too far away from them when you mouse over their equipment slots?

This isnt a mod its just you inspecting them and they have moved out of range of you.
If you inspect someone and they move more than 10 yards away from you (the range of the inspect) You can see the items but can't mouse over.
If you go even further away (like 30 yards) the entire window closes.

Readers,

No, i have a mod that lets me se their items as long as they are in sight of me, so it wasnt a distance thing. yeah i would figure technically that would be moer like hacking than modding, which was why i was wondering... it just caught me be surprise that i couldnt inspect the lvl 60's item stats at all, just bold yellow text showed with "Head", and "Neck", etc... strange. so yeah, i was standing next to them, one time was on a zepplin so they certainly had no place to go... reply if you can think of something. should have written down a user name lol, if i see it again i'll post it, no worries.

You have SuperInspect (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1981) and it has been broken by the latest patch (1.12)... There is no "prevent inspection" mod. Now, where do I collect my winnings?
