Hi WOW fans,
I know there is a mod that makes me (Priest) shout when i'm attacked, when my health is below a certain percentage and when i'm running out of mana. You hear a cry then and its written in the chat. I loaded some mods already (Clickheal, Priest Partyheal) but that feature isnt in that mods.... I cant find that specific mod anymore... Is there someone who knows which mod i mean? Thnx in advantage!

Please don't. That mod drives me nuts.

It's almost, but not quite, as bad as the Warlock mod that yells "My pet is injured!" constantly. Drives me crazy.

I can understand it drives you mad... i dont like it either.. but there are a very few parties where the partymembers are really considering the priest. Sometimes because they think fighting is more important then healing or because they are fully absorbed in their own (fighting) actions so they forget the needs of the priest.
So i like to get some attention .... but if there are other ways that work better.. please let me know :-)

Beat them down with a stick.

Seriously, though, let them know before they start chain-pulling that you may need mana breaks.

Some pullers in 5-mans respect their healer, and actually watch the healer's mana bar. Others like to keep motoring, and either have their Party health/mana screens disabled, or just ignore them.

Just let them know that you're /oom after a pull, or during the pull let them know you'll need to drink after the mobs are down.

But, the annoyance with the "ZOMG I'M OOM!" spam mods is that they do it, irregardless of what caused you to be low on mana in the first place.

Easy alternative is to macro a saying such as "Help, peel mob off me!" or something like that and just click when you abolutely have to. I don't recommend one that does it auto for you because it will tick off your tank. It would be like the tank having a mod that says heal me all the time. Just use your judgement and if you do get aggro run towards the tank so he can visually see something is wrong and he can peel aggro off you quicker. Also don't forget to use smaller heals and HoT's in aggro sensitive areas.

(For a reference I heal with a druid and I find that I can sacrifice time in mana to avoid aggro. Example: I can pop off 3 heals of 1000hp to and still not have aggro while 1 heal of 2200 will grab aggro faster than growl. Of course it all depends on your situation.)

Hope that helps you as no one likes those spam mods anyway. Use you head and you'll be fine if you tank is good. If your tank is bad then no mod can help you.

I use the macro idea myself, and as the previous poster has stated: Aggro control is key. Use your lower level heals and renews or other HoTs, plus have fade or other aggro reducing spells handy. And if you do get aggro without anyone noticing then use your "Get this thing off me" macro. Or in my case if things are a bit busy, and the tank has his hands full, I just go bear from and tank the mob until help arrives.
