Hi,
I have a couple questions regarding mods.
1) I really want a quest tracker of some kind that keeps a history of all quests you have done. I have tried Quest History, and it just give too much info, such as time started and times abandoned, I just don't want that. It would be great if someone could tell me what to change in the code to get rid of that stuff in the detail window that I don't want.
2) Second I got Move Anything and it does move just about anything, but I don't know how to move the keyring, is there a mod that can move the key ring box?
3) Finally, this is just bugging me. On discord unit frames, under buff and debuff there is freakin smily faces and some other design, can I change the picture to something else like a circle. I kjnow it dosn't actually show up in the ui but it bugs me.
Thanks,
Ted
To move the keyring use either Visor or an Action Bar mod like Bartender2 or Bongos. Most Action Bar mods will group the keyring with the rest of your bags into a "Bag Bar"/
The DUF Smily faces and frowns in the buff and debuff areas are merely placeholders for you to get idea how much space your buffs and debuffs will take when full and allow you to place them where you want. Once you quit out of the options screen they will dissappear. Still do not like seeing them when you are configuring your custom UFs? Then goto the the DUF folder, find the tga's and replace them with tga's of your choice. Just make sure they have the same name and dimensions of the orginals so you do not muck things up.

I will look at the tga's and try to change those.
But with the keyring I don't mean the icon for it that you clikc, I mean the actual key ring box, like when you click the keyring and it opens up, that thing.
Anyone no about the quest thing?
Some Bag mods will include the keyring when you open your bags and also make the keyring part of a single bag frame. Bagnon is a good example of this type of AddOn. However if you are JUST looking to move only the keyring frame, then look at Visor and Visor GUI.

Oh I just found out that I could use discord frame modifier, i like discord, so that works for me.
I looked in the tga files and switched the icon for the debuffs, but there is still a red border with a 5 in it, any idea how to get rid of that, it isn't the main border, because I put a check in hide border. I t is like it is another icon, but I got rid of all the tga icons and it was still there.
Anyone no of a good quest history thing.
That red border is here to stay. You can try to see if there is any .blp files (they are a type of image file used by Blizzard). If you find any in the Discord folders, copy em and convert the copy with a program that converst .blp to .pngs (search on this site or Curse Gaming). The number is a placeholder for when you get stacking debuffs.

How does discord suck? What do you use instead?
Also how can I change the title bar of a window frame. Like the titlebar on QuestBank says: QuestBank v 5.6 total quests, and I just want to have: Quest Bank. What should I look for in the code?
Royce has a well known bias against any Discord mod. The biggest issues most people have with Discord are A. The steep learning curve and B. the amount of resources that Discord uses. Use your judgement. Personally I use a mix of both Discord and Ace/Ace2 mods and I find they work well for me. It is all a matter of personal taste.

I like discord for all the possible customization, as long as it dosn't have any crazy bugs that I don't know about i like it. I started out hating it but now i understand it more. When you say it uses alot of resources, does that mean it takes up more of my RAM and slows down WoW, or what?
Oh and I figured out how to modify the title, so need need to explain that anymore.

You tell someone that the mod they're using sucks, don't give them a suggestion of what to replace it with, and then tell them it's none of their business what you use?
What the hell?

O well, I just noticed that the guy was the topic starter, my excuses for that. I try not to answer people with nerdy names:azn:
To topic starter: Bongos, Bartender - everything what's not Discord :)
