You may want to check your companies internet usage policies. In mine - if you circumvented websense and got caught there would be repercussions that could include being fired depending on what you were doing.

Why Do I have a feeling the other 3 posts are copies in other parts of the forum? Sigh.

That said, strangely his blog is the ONLY part of myspace that websence is allowing me to see. SO...

INTRO:

Warsong Gulch is won with a combination of some things that give you an edge over the other
team, it all ends up spelling out micro-management, tactics, and accurate response (flexibility/improvisation). This guide will teach you to think ahead, respond properly, and understand the big picture of leading an elite warsong gulch team. It is mainly intended for WSG raid leaders and strategy enthusiast due to it's depth. Don't expect to read this in one day, make sure you absorb the knowledge from each lesson carefully, or use it to look in to lessons that you may lack knowledge in. Remember it takes months putting a solid team together from scratch, patience is key. This guide is divided into 3 lessons listed above. Good luck!

Individual skills is one of the most important things that your players have, it is basically having your team doing the right things at the right times without being told to do so, whether it be "killing this guy first", or using "this spell at this time". When explaining this, you can get down to specific abilities and kill order priority
in certain situations. These need to become habits that your players automatically know to do. In a group vs group fight for example, the side with the best cohesion and individual skills will always come out alive. This is mainly done by practice, these skills can sometimes be picked up from PvE dungeon experiences.

( A ). Duty and Attitude
As a player on a PvP team you should always do your best at all times with no exceptions. Only through serious effort can your team progressively improve. Always listen to your leader no matter what you think you see, understand, or think. This is assuming you have an educated and decent leader. In order for a PvP team to work effectively there are requirements, rules, and duties to allow maximum efficiency.

Requirements:
-Voice communication
-Decent pvp gear (PvP blues will do)
-Consistent roster

Rules:
-No drama or whining
-Keep voice chat focused during every match
-No lame excuses for losing (auto pickup accusations, etc.)

Duties:
-100% effort at all times
-Always listen to your leader
-Always be ready for change in strategy
-Always know your current role
-Always idle at your current job until you get a new order or update
-Follow positioning orders effectively and immediately
-Always try to improve on your role

Those are the beginning basics. Its a detailed guide, but meh, most of it is common sense, and wont work for every team.

Yea...Websense makes life at work tough. This forum is about the only WoW related site I can go to. I would ask if you guys could post some other links to good WoW sites to visit, besides Wikipedia (I've read everything WoW related already)...but I have a feeling that most sites would probably be nuked by the moderators. Of course, I don't mind of you guys try.

yeah nice guide m8 probably the best all in one guide iv read

the stratagies mentioned and the basic knowledge of wsg you have aquired is really good and it seems pretty obvious (if you didnt mention it in the guide) that you are the (L) leader of your group and have experienced alot of hard fought battles vs other so called "reveered" pvp guilds.

however i would like to to mention to any twink pvp'ers that this guide does not help 10-19 or 20-29 however in a pre-made vs pre-made 30-39 this could be worth looking at.

any chance that you play on a twink in wsg pvp????

and any chance of writing a guide for the startagies involved there??

im the GM of a twink guild on runetotem and from being set up the emphises has always been on FUN and not HK/KB farming as most twinks seem to do were all about the wining and the as you say "pride" of taking on other twink guilds and wining consistantly.

Any advice on startagies where the enemy FC has like 2k hp and 2 healers and your offence group can kill the healers and take the FC to 70% then die would be apreciated.

our best strategy so far is to do a ZERG as this always works (we do 10-19 with strategy!! thus win when enemy goes for zerg aproach) however it means pulling defence out of possition for too long and they just get the flag again.... any advice on this specific 10-19 wsg problem would be more than welcome from yourself as i think my guild can relate to your ""ways"" cheers!!!!!!!
