Looking for a working shield mod

So I was looking for a mod that tracks damage left on your magical shields the other day but was unable to find any good ones. There is one for priests PW:S and one for mana shield i think. What amazed me the most was that both these mods used a system where they made their own little database of all creatures average damage while you were playing. That sounded redicolous to me. Doesn't it work with a mod that just starts some sort of function when you enable your shield and then just calculates the damage you take from there on and substracts that from the total damage the shield absorbs? Also why isn't there a mod that just works for all shields? (mana shield and ice barrier are the ones I'm interested in). If there is one can someone link to it please? If there isn't one is someone interested in making one? Is it possible to make one in this way I proposed? Thank you in advance!

Did you even understand what you asked for ?

When you get hit and you have a shield on all you see is "Absorb". So they make a database with the average damage ... dont like it ? Make your own. That's the only way to get it.
