Worth Rolling?

Well, i currently play on a Normal Realm.. A new one in Eu (Lightbringer)

Having got to 40~, im realising that maybe it would be more exciting on a PvP server.

However, Blizzard allowed realm migration awhile back before i started playing on many of the PvP realms that are 'Reccomended'. Leaving them full of 60's and a few /who's and looking on Warcraftrealms shows they dont really look appealing.
I mean who wants to start on a server with only 60's in epics?

I think this was opened.. awhile ago maybe May this year, and has a fair few 60's but the realm isnt opened for migration yet, meaning no tier 3's running around etc.

Is it worth rolling on a realm this old?

Blizzard has said no new PvP realms will be opened due to there being too many reccomended. Is it worth waiting?

I'd agree with yavvy. At least you can discover if you like to play on a PvP server. Won't take you that long to level up to where you are doing quests in STV... :grin:

I rolled a warrior on Draenor, high pop PvE server, as my first WoW char. I played him up to 31, and then decided to leave the RL friends that made me choose that particular server. And shift to a PvP server. I chose Jaedenar for the reasons you mention, it was new and it was factionally balanced, and it wasn`t highly populated. I sure haven`t regretted it, the PvP is just what the game needs is my opinion.

You do get the gankers, but as a bonus to the grief, which really haven`t been very bad, the community is much more tightly knit, much more standing together. A common enemy to unite the newbs and noobs ^^. As it is, AQ was opened yesterday, so maybe transfers are close by now, I dont know what impact that is gonna have.

I am in C Company guild on Alliance side, and you are welcome to send me a whisper, Hagbard being the name. We are just above 100 members, and 20 on at any given time. You may not be able to get in before you are level 20, and we have a surplus of warriors and mages, so we aren`t taking any more of those classes in either as I understand. But its an offer, if you do transfer.

I will recommend Jaedenar, Lookingforgroup channel is working, much more efficient than Draenor, for all level instances. Which makes sense of course, as people are making new chars on our server, and thus creating a more vibrant levelling up atmosphere.

if you like getting ganked by rogues/hunters/mages every 5-10 minutes as soon you step into a contested area then roll on a pvp server

and get used to the complete ignorant egotistic stupid kids on pvp servers, yes even more than pve servers

they should rename pvp servers to "gank" servers

also consider that the best mid-level questing place (STV) is also the place that you will die as soon you step outside of rebel camp/gromgol
