Flying Mount + Draenei & BE Mount

The Cockatrice for the Bloodelves will not look as the one u see drawings of on google, they will be the flying phoenix u see at about 4:50 at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enpjukIovBA
It will hover just over the ground when it "walks". I think its pretty cool, but wonder what the epic would look like, hard to get a more epic look. The Draenei mount is on the same video. Normal: 1:11 Epic: 3:17
Special Flying Mount Nether Drake: 3:11 Now the flying mounts for the Horde and the Alliance will be armored gryphons and wyverns, gryphons: 4:23 wyverns: 4:34. Now my reason why i believe the Phoenix is mount for BE is that u see it has a saddle, and BE's have a connection with Phoenix...And also this: http://www.wowwiki.com/Phoenix So there's my opinion...Would be smart if we gathered all information about BE & Draenei mounts here + flying mounts. =D

The Phoenix is a special flying mount named Peep. Which actually just looks like something made for fun considering it has a level 1 requirement and is probably just rather a model used for Kael'Thas's Phoenix in Tempest Keep.

But the Blood Elf mount is not in the game files at this time. Most likley in the next Alpha update the Cockatrice may finally be added.

When did Phoenix's = Cockatrices, don't go around spreading false information.

In Lands of Conflict it was said that Dragonhawks are used as land transportation untill they are old enough to fly. Expect the Cockatrice to look similar to a Dragonhawk not a Phoenix.

Its a sandbox server wheres hes using .morph command thats why it can't fly as its just a morphed player model. It is false information as the cockatrice is not in the game files and that is a Phoenix.

the phoenix is a mob in the Frozen Throne, summoned by the blood mage, Kael'Thas is himself one.

Interesting, in the fight against him, I think he'll summon a very tough phoenix minion. and all Blood Elf mages should be able to summon a phoenix, I think: maybe as a racial instead of water elemental.

I was thinking that thae pheonix might be part of the Kael'thas Sunstrider boss battle. Would be cool if one of his phases was fighting him mounted on his pheonix. Then, you kill his pheonix and fight just him. Then the pheonix comes back, and you fight both of them. Wow.

what suggests that he would ride his phoenix? he maybe has it as a minion, i think he'd burn his ass off, cause a phoenix has negative life regeneration (if u can call it regen^^), so it turns into an egg and give rebirth. he burns so hot that he kills himself, that's the explanation

I think that it would be an extremely nice boss fight to have him summon his phoenix at around 75% health, Kael'thas has to be tanked while you bring the Phoenix down (It does high DPS or something.) and when it dies, you have to DPS the egg down otherwise it comes up again and you will most likely wipe if you don't bring the egg down.

You and I have significantly different ideas about the quality of items. Orb of the Darkmoon is the absolute highest +dmg you can get on any non raid necklace in the game.

Indeed... I farmed for it and loved it, sure I replaced it with an Ony neck, and it's a bit of a toss up against the ZG rep one when you get to revered for a hunter.

But still, amazing stuff since all options above require raiding, whereas you can get the Darkmoon epics solo as long as you spend the time farming or have the gold to buy the hand-ins.

Unless they mean this was part of Maiev's base where she tried to keep Illidan imprisoned, after which Prince Kael'Thas and Lady Vashj spoiled the party. RPG book, even the last version has her as KIA, forgotten and unmourned by all.

IIRC, even Metzen made a throw away remark about this during one of his interviews during Blizzcon. Not 100% on this though.

Danath is in Honor Hold, Alleria in the Allerian Stronghold(who could guess that!), Kurdran in Wildhammer Stronghold and Khadgar and Turalyon are somewhere.

Maieve may be alive shes the odd one as a book says she died but it was also a book that was written before the expansion started being made and may have been changed.

And of course Illidan is alive along with Kael'Thas, Vashj and Akama. Illidan never died also(least I am assuming you were talking about him) in Warcraft 3 Blizzard left out the speech files where Arthas tells Illidan to run away to Outland and never wants to see him again after the battle. Basicly Arthas intentionally let him live just so the defeat would torment him forever.

Also with Akama its unknown as to what hes doing. Since Auchindoun does not have a raid wing that would mean he would have to be a boss in the Black Temple then or maybe he left Illidan and is leading some of the Broken in the Ancient Draenei Base. But since the Broken description in the beastiary says they serve Illidan still I guess we meet him in the Temple. Its just tough to know for sure untill more is released.
