Restoring the missing combat log

I am one of those lucky people whose combat log vanishes when I die, when I zone in, when I log off, when I cook dinner, when I feed my turtle in game, when I feed my turtle in real life, etc.

The WoW forums had a script workaround, but I didn't copy it down and now it is gone. Anyone have it?

everytime i had that problem... i always end up finding it behind my chat log... tabbed... and i always wondered if it was there all along? or did it poof and then come back... i dont know... combat log confuses me all the time...

delete your WDB, WTF and interface folders - start over

Feeding your turtle ingame with your real life turtle sounds like the obvious answer to your problems.

missing combat log blows! sometimes i get zomg amazing crit and take a SS and then realized that my log is gone!

I use the following script to recover my 3rd window I use for guild/whisper/party chat. You can adapt it to combat log by changing the '3' to a '2'
