The latest edition of the Escapist has just hit the Net today and they have an entertaining article which looks at all the bits and pieces you usually find in collector editions of games. You know, the useless piece of plastic thingy that usually hangs around on your desk for months before you realise it's all*rather pointless. Blizzard always fire out pretty decent CE's in my opinion and it will be interesting to see what appears in the BC CE.*I still lovingly cherish my D2 CEs :)

On a related note, site visitor Silkfire points out that Upperdeck (makers of the TCG) look to be supplying goodies for the CE as highlighted in this comment from Upperdeck.

In the Burning Crusade Collector's Edition, Blizzard has asked for some very specific TCG items, including 2 starter decks, a full-size color rulebook and 3 foil promo cards (which will be released in a future set in non-foil version). Details will be released in the coming weeks. There will be SO MANY collector's editions printed, that scarcity shouldn't really be a problem at all.
