Hi I was wondering if there was a site for realm specific items. I just got Axe of deep woods or 95g and Ardent Custodian for 30g. The problem is AH has only seen these items around 5 times, so I take it the data is not reliable. If I could find out how much these can sell for on my realm I would be very grateful, and if they are easy to sell item or not? I'm on Norg. buy the way.

Oh and btw, I would just like to add, auctioneer says its worth upwards of 200g. But it doest seem like it should be worth that much to me...

Axe of the Deep Woods, doesn't sell too often on your server. Alliance prices are:
Median: 80g
Average:78g 89s 8c
Low: 49g

Horde wise it's:
Median: 65g 5s 92c
Average: 73g 70s 70c
Low: 1c

Overall on all servers and both sides it goes for this:
High Price: 1110g 95s
Low Price: 40g
Average: 130g 49s 77c
Median: 110g
Most Common: 100g
Std Deviation: 73g 19s 50c

Looks like your server is different from the others when it comes to this item.

Median: 55g
Average: 55g 38s 22c
Low: 21g 23s

Alliance side:
Median: 50g
Average: 48g 72s 79c
Low: 6g

Overall on all servers and both sides it goes for this:

Median: 70g

In short, you again differ from other servers.

Frankly, I put as much faith in those sites as in the next guy coming up to me claiming that the Ardent Custodian is worth 2k.

I have seen it be off by a HUGE amount way too many times for me to put any stock in what it says.

True enough, but easy enough to test out. Just compare items you've seen a few times, on which your auctioneer has also built a profile about and then compare to see what those sites are saying. 5% Deviation is a reasonable enough margin of error imo.

Afterall, in the end the AH is really a form of gambling anyway. :wink:

I'm guessing you mean the axe.. Well, it's dependant upon on which side you're going to sell to, in addition to how accurate their numbers are.

Notice how the Horde side, it's less expensive than on the Alliance side.
Something you have to take into consideration.

So say 75g to 80g as the buyout, and let folks bid on it. If, a person really really wants it they'll go for the buyout, otherwise the bidding will up the price anyway. Either way you make a tidy sum.

You always need to weigh the two sides. How much money can I make, and not appearing too greedy and scaring folks off.
