Hello everyone,
I am new to WoW and have loved it from the beginning. I've leveled my night elf pretty quick to 11 in no time at all. I'm new to group quests but absolutely love them. I can't believe the experience I had tonight on Centarian Circle. I was in Ban'ethil Barrow getting the items to take back to Dolanoor. First the two guys I was in a party with were a couple levels below me. At first everything was cool. We were slaying monsters, yadda yadda, but then, when the heat was on in a little nook, they ninja'd the chest and left me killing the monsters!!!
I was able to pull off a screenshot quickly, so if you these scum on Centarian Circle, stay away from them because they are certain body parts that are filtered out for a reason. Believe it or not, I told them I was going to report them and they actually laughed at me and said there was nothing I could do, then they farted on me.
Please, a word filter is set up on our forums to serve a purpose. Bypassing it in any way is against the rules, so think about that next time you post.

well, unfortunatly, this happens. Rule #1, role for chests. Make sure you say roll for chest before anyone tries to open it.
Technicaly, it is not "your chest" persay because you all did not roll for it. However, it is really scummy of people to just take it.

Bypassing the word filter is agaist the forum rules. Also, ninjaing of that kind is nothing. Stealing epic items from raid bosses at lvl 60 is a bit harcher.
haha you have bubble chat <3

It's a quest item chest, sure they did a bad thing and took the item and ran but it's not like they took a loot chest from you. Just wait for the respawn (if it even needs to respawn), loot the quest item, hearth and find another party. There's never a shortage of people needing the Relics of the Awakening quest.
Also remember that a lot of these extreme lowbies are new to gaming and lack common sense but they figure it all out once in guild environments (most do anyway).

They laughed at you when you were going to report them? Gasp! The nerve!
Seriously, it is a pretty lousy thing to do indeed, but welcome to the world of online gaming. Frustration towards the human race is one of the first things you will encounter. Stealing a chest is just one of these things causing said frustration, but it certainly is not the only one.
In the mean time, welcome to the game and to our forums - just make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules (http://forums.worldofwar.net/rules) first, especially since you seem to already have broken one in your first post.

Sorry about the pseudo-profanity, they just had me so darn-tootin' mad that I jsut had to say something. Golly, I mean these fellas just didn't know how gosh-darned upset I was when they ninja'd my gear.
As for the people gettin' high-and-mighty about epic gear, etc. they started off as level 1 like everyone else and to pretend they were born level 60 is to be a big gosh-darned poopey pants. Gee whiz. Either that or they bought their character on Ebay which means they are like the Speed-Pass Poopey Heads at the theme park. Gooly gee now, don't be that way.

But that was the best pseudo-swearing I've seen on a forum for the longest time. And it did indeed make me giggle. Funny guy, you. Either way, it's a quest-chest, it'll respawn, don't worry and move on. We've all been there and you'll see worse things.
He wasn't high and mighty about the epic gear, but when you get up there the effort to get that particular piece of gear might stretch to weeks and months. You can only raid one spot every so often. So you can see how ninja'ing in a raid situation is quite worse than in your case here.
So just pick yourself back up and move on to the next. Good luck!
i missed out on what was said... now i'm curious... someone wanna PM me?

Curiosity speaking here; Did the chest disappear? I've never grouped for this quest, but when I've found someone else soloing it, there's never been a problem for both of us to get the quest-item out of the chest. One person opens the chest and takes the item, then the next person does the same. Waiting-time = opening-time for chest.
they do, u'll just have to wait for it to respawn.

Yakii welcome to WoW. But allow me to correct ya here. The chest in question in your screenshot is not a loot chest it is a quest chest. It doesn't despawn, and all it has in it is the quest required item that everyone is able to get. Now the only thing they did do bad was leaving you stuck with all the mobs while they ran.
Such is the way of WoW, but I can tell you as a player who has played much even during the beta, you will encounter far worse. An example happened to me tonight on Scarlet Crusade. LBRS run the mage group leader didn't know what she was doing so she handed me the group leader possition. Something should of told me about her when I saw no guild tag, but then again I have left a few guilds because they weren't rp guilds and were pure end game. (Her name happened to be Nadejda btw). The next clue that should of struck me was her equipement, but then I attributed it to being maybe her first end game run since she started out at 59.
So after I took over I started using the raid targets to direct traffic and the group was going a lot smoother. She used her need roll on a pair of these: http://wwndata.worldofwar.net/item.php?id=12626 and I let her have em since no one else needed them and she could use the upgrade. We got down to the horde area and I saw her turn something into a large brilliant shard. Didn't think anything of it though I now realized I should of inspected her. And we get to the orcs just before the spiders and this baby drops: http://wwndata.worldofwar.net/item.php?id=14513. Well she says she needs it and we start the roles. I count down 5, 4 and suddenly she loots and logs out leaving the rest of the group dumbfounded. Yep we just got ninja'ed.
So as I said, you will encounter far worse on your travels.
Please do not link to that site as it supports gold selling adverts. I changed those links with the matching items on WWNdata.

Well with my rather low post count maybe I shouldn't be the one saying this- but I'm pretty sure that linking to thott is prohibited (they advertise gold sellers and such). Try linking to allakhazam or WWNdata, I'm pretty sure those two are the ones to use.

Summing up some things for the original poster:
1.NOTHING was ninja'd there. That chest only contains a quest item.
2.That particular chest does not disappear when used, hence you can collect the item right after they did.
3.You are making a big fuss out of practically nothing. Whenever you feel like complaining about ninjas, make sure the item in question is at least blue(rare) quality. And even then you will get other people saying ninjas don't really exist until raids. And no, I do not have a level 60 character yet.

Well, while I agree with the first two points, I have to say that I would rather spot that ninja early when he ninjas my chest containing 20 copper, than when I'm in molten core and he ninjas my chest containing my leaf  .

Allakhazam is forbidden too as it is IGE owned.
