ZG rep question

I've been looking for the answer to this question for a while but I can't seem to find a concrete one so here goes. Do you still get 3-5 rep for killing trash mobs in ZG after revered? I'm just wondering if I should be saving my bijous or not. Thanks!

No I would suggest saving at least 15 of them....for the honor tokens you will need to purchase a shoulder enchant when you do reach exalted, other than that use them up.

Bear in mind: you need 15 for EACH enchant. I'd save at least 30 if your class is a hybrid or you excpet to get better shoudlers in the forseeable future.

Each full clear of ZG yields you somewhere between 3000 and 4000 rep, so getting to exalted is relatively easy. The amount of rep does not change with rep level untill you're maxed out at 999/1000 exalted.

No need to save the Bijous. It's the tokens that are used to purchase the shoulder enchants, not the Bijous. Break them and save the tokens, since you'll get 75 rep each Bijou that way (that's another 3k rep for the 40 you have saved, i.e. one less ZG clear to hit Exalted). Not to mention the tokens stack to 250 and it's a hell of a lot better to have 1 stack of tokens taking up bag space than 5 of different colors of Bijous.

You save you needed Bijous and coins on an alt until you reach full exalted, then you mail those to your main, go break the bijous/turn in the coins, and get your enchant. Or just break Bijous and do Coins until you have 15 tokens, then mail all future Bijous and Coins to an alt. How is that complicated?

Why in the hell would you wait until Exalted to break them? You aren't making sense, man.

Breaking 15 Bijous is 1125 rep. That's 1/3 to 1/2 of a full ZG clear you won't need to do to get to Exalted. Why waste that rep by breaking the Bijous and turning in the coins when you're already Exalted and don't need the rep anymore?

Please, explain your reasoning.

Indeed. Break them before reaching exalted, otherwise you're just throwing away free rep.

Simpler Version.....Break them all and save out 15 honor tokens or 30 for enchants...use the rest of your honor tokens for rep....and of course before exalted....

Seems you have it all wrong.
Break 15, save the tokens for the enchant. The act of breaking the Bijou itself gives reputation too.
Sell the rest, just run ZG for reputation, cash and loot.
