Well if you want a uber class that doesnt die so easily and does great damage, i sugest you stay with a hunter. If your a suicidal sort, roll mage. If your a long last damage dealer sort, roll warlock(fear). Have you tried rogues?

Who knew that paying a few silver for food and bullets every couple days would bankrupt people? Geez...

Mage FTW,
Kill...die...kill again. Great dmg and with skill you can even hurt a lot of ppl without dieing.

Race doesn't matter. If you wish to deal alot of damage in a very short time, there are a very large number of class capable of doing that: rogues, hunters, fury warriors and mages. I think there's still some I haven't listed yet.

If you want Burst DMG...Rogue / Mage imo. But locks and hunters own in PvP. Warriors IMO are too gear dependent for PvP. If they have the gear...there sick...if they dont...there not that sick. :P

Dying from PVP battles does not cause a 10% durability damage to your gear.

Sucks? Try having a mage sheep you, heal up and then throw spells at you, and then Frost Nova you when you get too close.
And you will soon to learn to respect the mage.
This coming from a rogue who kills mages on a regular basis in a BG.
But of course, warlocks are terrifically dangerous, especially if they have a Felhunter (if there is a pet that has indirectly killed me frequently, it is definitely this guy). Still, I don't think they are overpowered, since rogues can still kill them. Easily if they had dealt with warlocks for a very long time. I consider warlocks as the easier version of mages.

Speaking as a Mage and Warlock player Warlocks are not easier than a mage. Warlocks have the ability to be much more dangerous than a mage if you know how to use your talents correctly. If all you know how to do on a lock is fear and dot then you're gonna die a lot.
Mages due to high burst damage are much easier to look like your decent. Take a fire mage... poly your target, fire ball, fireblast and with enough +damage gear you can two shot a lot of casters. We won't even talk about Pyroblast.
But yeah people really underestimate mages I usually top the board in KBs in BGs with my mage in WSG (not so much in AB because I'm usually playing defense since no one else wants to) even when I'm functioning as a flag runner. And yes mages are underestimated flag runners... reason being mana shield, blink and frost nova. Even though you have very low stamina you have so many ways of getting ahead or keeping the defense at bay you can easily make it back a lot of times. Pop a free action potion after grabbing the flag and it's really hard to stop you from getting back to your base. And if there are speed boots in the tunnel you can forget it.

The Warlock being the easier mage is referred in BG perspective. Usually, after the warlock has let their pets off and is casting spells at someone, they were usually vulnerable to rogues who has the freedom to totally stunlock 'em or just Backstab backstab and backstab (of course, stunlock's safer). They have absolutely no counter against stuns and for a warlock to survive it, they have to catch the rogue first, or CC the rogue after he destealths (seduce, anyone? Well, WoTF can fix that....).
Mages, unfortunately, are trickier since there is always that chance they still had blink. Oh, and frost nova roots you too (though I always counter that with a blind in their eyes, vanish and go after them, or Free Action Potion).
And Polymorph sucks.

All you need is a second to break the stunlock and get DC off to kill a rogue with warlock. Rogues are mince meat to me. The only time rogues do get me is if I'm engaged with another player and they jump into the fray while my attention is occupied. Otherwise if I have my Fel Hunter I usually see them before they can get to me or I seduce with my Suc... and even if it's broken by WOTF it's enough to get me out of stunlock.
As long as I can get the rogue dotted so he can't vanish it's one dead rogue... I have enough stamina now where I"m not getting two or three shotted. But I get your point I had you confused... I thought you were saying warlocks were easier to play... you were saying easier to kill. I know mages can be a pain too... nothing is more satisfying than hearing that stealth sound and hitting frost nova befor a rogue can get his first strike off. I know it's gotta be frustrating to you LOL

Sheep > run like chicken > eat/drink after 5 sec of non hostile activity you drop combat > come back when ZHC/AP/PoM/ToEP are cooled and pwn.

Remember, I said BG, where chaos is everywhere. Your pet is very likely to have already gone to someone else when I get to you. So there.
Open PVP and duels and it will be an entirely different story, though a rogue is also very likely to sap you when he sees you have no pet and suspects an invisible succubus. And if that guy has a PVP trinket and WoTF, this already means plenty of pain, because that rogue is also planning to kill your succubus before killing you. And he has no problems waiting for your succubus to appear and seduce him, and will just keep sapping you if your succubus doesn't come out for him to kill.
Felhunter is a totally different story. You can see me from miles away, and you will DoT me before I can even get near to you. Hence why I hate warlocks with felhunters.
Now mages......they have like, an absurd amount of mana, so they are unlikely to have problems with this. Oh, and 5 seconds is short for them, and polymorph gives him enough time to get enough health to survive another beatdown. And their cooldown's up by then.
You can tell that I hate mages.

I keep hearing about all these patient rogues who will wait to kill your succubus... but I've never run into one. Even the notorious rogues on my server don't do that. They'll go after my succ if she has already been revealed but they don't sap and wait. I'm undead myself so I really only have to deal with the trinket. I'm also not stupid enough to have my succ seduce while I'm sapped. Even if I somehow knew he blew his trinket cooldown sap lasts longer than seduce. Sooner or later I'll get an early break in the sap and then it's over for you.
I also don't use my pet for DPS in BGs... that's just asking for a Warlock I haven't seen yet to banish it and take away their more useful abilities... especially not my felhunter. It's not enough dps where it'll make the difference in a one vs. one fight. Either I'm in control of the fight and win or someone ganks me and I lose. But I keep my pets close at hand for people who want to interfere.

Then I pride myself for being a patient fellow. Everytime I see a warlock with no pet, my mental alarm bells ring. I always believe in waiting for opportunities to strike down my prey.
And you must be one of those warlocks who put his pet in passive mode, because everytime I'm in BG, those pets are usually fighting like a rabid wolf.

Yeah I have a hunter and a warlock... and I'm somewhat of a control freak I guess... so passive mode always, can't stand to not have conscious control over what my pet is doing. Just because I'm attacked doesn't necessarily mean I want to attack them... it my be tactically better to ignore, run or use a different approach.
And aye... you're a smart rogue... half of being a rogue is picking your opportunities carefully and not just jumping in the fray.
