Hey guys, I just thought of a fairly useful idea for a mod. It's for a shaman, and currently no mod that I know enables you to do this.
With a press of a button (possibly with a macro), the shaman would use one of it's three shocks.
Cold for if the target needs slowing.
Earth, if it needs to be interrupted.
Fire if it needs damage done to it. As well it would take into consideration if the DoT of the shock is on the target from a previous cast.
And of course a shock if none of the 3 rules apply. (Isn't running, isn't casting, and has a DoT on it).
As well it would use the highest rank possible given the amount of mana on hand.
Could someone make a mod like this?

If you specify your wishes a little better you might get some answers.
How do the script just automaticly "knows when the target needs slowing" or needs damage done to it?

I guess when I said that, it can be taken quite vaguely.
When a target needs slowing, I meant when it was fleeing. I have a warriror mod that seems to know when this is happening, and does a little hamstring on them.
Sorry, I see how the fire one is even more vague. I basically meant that it would be cast if the target is not fleeing, or doesn't need a spell interrupted. It would be triggered mostly because the person wanted to hit the target with damage.
Does that clear it up?

i think the only way to tell if something is fleeing is when it emotes that it is.. i think humanoids do this? X flees in fear or something. you could maybe use CheckInteractDistance but that only can tell certian ranges (it would be like left clicking on someone to trade/inspect/invite/follow and telling how far they are away by if those are enabled or not) so it might be a bit slow.
the others could be done but im not sure how much theres a need for a mod like that. when i think there are mods out there to react to something casting (spell alert), fleeing is easy to tell and if they arent doing any of those then you could press flame.

i have some sort of that included in an macro collection addon, but i have not updatd the latest version, and the code for the supershock only checks what class the target is, how much mana you have, how much health your target has and if a stormstrike is on the target...
i will add some more checks to it if i find some time and post a link for the updated version here....
