I've just got this game about a week ago, it worked fine the first few days, but lately I've been experiencing high latencies, I am not talking about lag spikes that occurs every 20 minutes, I'm saying that my latency is at around 5-12k constantly. I guess that I chose a wrong time to start this game because Blizzard seems to be having problems with their servers too. I ran a traceroute and this is what I got:
1 2 ms 2 ms 1 ms 192.168.0.1

Allrighty... your speed seems fine and your Loc. vs. Realms Loc. seems good as well.....
What kind of NIC do you have is it intergrated on your MOBO or is it a completely separate card?

I am connecting to the internet using a wireless router. I have this device from D-link that detects signals from the router. It's external and is connected to the computer by a usb cord. Is that what you're asking?

OK make sure that you have your router set up where it doesn't automatically renew it's self after 30sec-1min and it's stays the same IP throughout your gaming

When looking at your network connections go to properties and look through the different tabs and you'll see an option about dynamic or static... w/ wireless you want to use static...
Also go to your Wireless router configuration and make sure that it is set so you IP address renews when ever you stop and then restart and program that requires an internet connection.....

your trace route doesnt look good. all the astricks** (spelling?)
indicate a problem contacting the servers necessary to reach blizzard's game server, which indicates a problem with your connection to your ISP. after line 14 its normal for you to not get a response from the saerver because thats the point where you have reached Blizzard's game server and their servers are trained not to respond to traces. but the ones before that that time out are a problem. you may need to print that and take it to your isp or email it to their tech support to try to resolve the problem. if its a problem with your wireless gonfiguration they can help you resolve that too.
