PVP Battleground - The Escort

Battleground Suggestion

The escort is a battleground set in a jungle zone (STV?). It requires 5 alliance and 5 horde. A toin coss decides which group is doing the escort (Group A), and which group is trying to stop it (Group B).

Group A must escort some important person from point x to point y. This person also has 3 of his own guards. Group B must stop them by killing all the guards, as well as all of Group A before being able to kill the important person. They will have unlimited amount of tries to do this, just so long as the escort doesn't get to his destination.

This is a very fast paced BG that probably won't take longer than 10-20 minutes. It's easier to get an organized group of 5 people to enter the BG, and you won't occur the problem where you face the same people over and over and not receive much honour from it.

I think it would be better to have both teams going at the same time. It should be 10-15 people. You would have to practice offense and defense at the same time. But that might be a little too much like capture the flag . .

The escort stops moving forward if all the guards are killed, right?

It would make more sense if you didn't have to kill all of the others first, especially the players - that effectively turns it into a mindless kill 'em all quick battle - you just have to kill everybody before they have time to res at a graveyard and get back again.

On the other hand, if the attackers could just "assassinate" the target... well with WoW's mechanics that might be rather hard to prevent, except perhaps with an entire defending team of mages... ;-)
