Hi...today when i was trying to log into the game, It cannot be connected. So after a few tries, I decide to reinstall the game. So when installing, i get this error" Couldn't decompress Ogg data: ov_open_callbacks=-132. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (InstallerDecompressOgg)" , so the installation is not successful. Can anyone help with this problem?? Thank!!

Try this (http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01635p) and this (http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww0788p). That should do the trick.

Does it always display the error at the same file? If not, you might have some hard drive issues or other stuff. If it always displays the error at the same place then most likely your cd is scrached/damaged(is it?). Try installing the game on another pc to see if it works. Btw the server was probably offline atm when you tried to log on, so there was no need to reinstall the game. Also afaik wow checks if all files are intact when starting the game.

Hi,
sorry for hijacking this thread a little bit, but since I have a very similar problem, I figured it would be better to post here than to start a new thread.
During installation, I can install to disc 2 or 3, then the installer crashes with one of the following errors (I have the German version, but since the German Stuff is irrelevant, I post it here, too):

Patch data is bad. (source CRC mismatch: -10962576/-1685324723) (BNUpdate::PTCApply)

and:

Couldn't decompress Ogg data: ov_read=-3. Sollte das Problem fortbestehen, wenden Sie sich bitte an
den Technischen Support von Blizzard. (InstallerDecompressOgg)

These errors do NOT occur at always the same point, sometimes I come as far as disc 3, sometimes it crashes at disc 1.
I wiped my temp directory, shut down all antivirus programs, tried even to install under safe mode of XP(is that right?) and copied the CD data on HD to start installer from there. I defragmented and virus-scanned my HD partition(again, is that right?), which is empty and freshly formatted (I created it extra for WoW).
Nothing works. Can anybody here please help me?
Thanks in advance for the help.
