Thanks, very cool. I've been wanting to see something like this for awhile now. I always thought Tauren were a bit bigger than that, but I guess not.

Yeah, i thought it quite strange that the tauren was that small, maybe they nerfed them?

Shouldn't the blood elves be really taller than humans? I know WC3 proportions are not the best reference, but just look at the heroes (http://battle.net/war3/human/). Being decendents of the night elves should also have given them some good genes.

And the Elekk is HUGE. It's legs are as big as gnomes O_o

blood elves arent descended from night elves... they're high elves, that decided to rename themselves the blood elves after their people got slaughtered.

Technically, Darth is correct.

NE -> HE -> BE is the proper chain of evolution, though currently the main difference between HE and BE is more philosophical in nature as opposed to biological, though I suspect we're beginning to see the first inklings of a biological change due to the BE racial abilities, which do differ slightly from the HE ones.

One could argue about whether the High Born, who are the more direct ancestors of the HE and BE, shouldn't already be seen as divergent from the regular NE populace, due to their greater magical abilities, but then again, that might've simply been an issue of social class opening up more avenues for further training as opposed to an actual racial offshoot.

Similar situations can be observed with other Elven nations across the known multiverse. The nobility tend to have greater access to proper training schools/tutors, it's easier for them to cover the expenses involved in learning and developing one's skills in the Art. Hence, why relatively fewer commoners will be seen practising the Art amongst the People. Not unheard of by any means, just far less common.

IIIRC, Illidan and his brother were not of noble birth, still Illidan was quite proficient in the Art. Hence, an exception to the rule thus confirming it.
